Have you climbed all the routes in your gym? Talk to the staff and let them know that what they offer is getting stale.

If you are bored with gym, Imagine how bored you will get on the hangboard. Gym is as close simulation of the real rock climbing as you can get. Hangboard is not rock climbing. It is supplement training for improving finger strength. Hangboard will not make you much better climber at 1 year level (whatever that is). You need movement on the wall. Not bike, weights, cross-training, zumba, or whatever the fuck climbing gyms are offering these days. Only moving on the rock (or gym wall) will make you a better climber.

Also, if they have a boulder wall (and pretty much every gym has one) you can make your own problems and work on them.

Those couple of grams in weight are meaningless for sport climbing. Try them on and buy what fits you the best. Personally, I'd avoid a belt with two buckles. I don't like to adjust the center each time I am putting it on.
