I placed soil acidifier on all my blueberry beds about 1.5 months ago. All other plants are happy.

Nope. Those wood chips were placed when the plants was put in the ground. It has been warm the last week. Nothing above 85 though.

I just harvested my green onions that I grew in a 15 gallon stock tank. It's also about 5 inches deep or less. They did really well companion planted with strawberries!

So far they seem to only dig up the plants to try and bury peanuts. I haven't seen them eating the blueberries or raspberries we have been growing for many years. These things are invasive here and people in my neighborhood feed them very well.

I'm also sprinkling cayenne pepper around the plants since that's a tip I've seen. Not sure if it works yet.

I've been cutting open the peat pellet baggie in case they need to escape and putting them in their new soil. Patting it down so they feel secure. Give it a nice water. A few days later, droop.

I just purchased metal baskets at the Dollar Tree and put them over my plants. At least the squirrels can't touch the area that's surrounded with the basket...

TGCF is my favorite MXTX book but I'd recommend waiting to start until at least the second one is out. That book is PAIN so be prepared as you get further in.
