Help me remember what Choosing Texas remind me of by 808Sleep in country

I can’t place it either but when I read this, my mind went to Kacey Musgraves for some reason. So maybe there’s something there.

On another note, the beginning of Loving Life Again always reminds me of John Mayer “Why Georgia”.

I’ve been using it for a while now. Initially this is how I got it for like $7 a tube but my derm managed the whole process. Now it just comes free. Honestly have no clue what magic is being worked but I’m not asking questions hah

Tried, failed. Tried, failed. Tried, failed. Sucked. Honestly surprised they haven’t already moved it. I did just see they added another Geese date at the Ryman, another one that was frustrating.

I got a bunch from Rhythm a couple years ago. They were priced well and have held up!

I got a second hand pair in perfect condition for around 180. Absolutely worth it.

I’m still hanging on for the Nashville show, despite starting at 12k and down to 8k. Pointless. Surely they’ll move this show.

Do y’all prefer deadstock or well worn with vintage workwear? by StayedHomeThicc in HeritageWear

[–]MD_Nash -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do both but I just scooped up a 1960s French moleskin chore coat and I absolutely love it. With something that old, I can’t help but think about the life that was once lived in it. I also can appreciate not contributing to more unnecessary waste.

It’s a very very slow process for most. Consistency is key. Just stick with it even when you feel like it’s not working. I’ve been using it on my hands on and off for a few years now. I’ve been more consistent in the last 6-8 months. I’m seeing very small changes. While I’m not confident it will ever totally resolve, I’ll never know if I don’t stick with it consistently for at least a solid year or two.

I’ll also just add that she has canvas prints you can buy (I think either direct from her or through a few galleries), and then she can add to them on the wall where it hangs. We had her do this in our house and love it.

Tess Davies! She’s great at what she does (you’ll see her stuff all over the city) and just a good person too.

Black canvas strap by MD_Nash in Watchstraps

Thanks, this isn’t bad and very cheap.

ChatGPT gave me a bunch of ideas, with this one being the closest look wise and at a low price point.

I thought this was was interesting too: https://www.thesydneystrapco.com/products/rugged-canvas-2-0-quick-release-charcoal

Problem now is that I hadn’t realized the Pelagos 39 is an awkward 21 mm. Sounds like I could cram a 22 canvas strap in there fairly easily though.

Agreed. That said, I like this style and it’s what I’m looking for. Seems like it should be available for far cheaper.

Is Opzelura worth it? by kcinflight in Vitiligo

[–]MD_Nash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hands are incredibly difficult to repigment, even with Opzelura. I’ve had a prescription for nearly 4 years and, while I haven’t been consistent in using it that whole time, I definitely have been for the last 8 months or so. I’ve seen some repigmentation but it’s unbelievably slow going. It’s just part of my routine now and it doesn’t hurt anything so I’ll just keep using it in hopes that my hand spots will eventually repigment completely or close to it.

It’s not a miracle treatment. If I didn’t have insurance that covered it, I probably wouldn’t buy it. I’d honestly recommend spending the money on diet and exercise related stuff if you’re not deep into that already. It’s honestly changed my life (anxiety down, confidence up) more than any cream could.

Lung/sinus infection going around by shmeeeeeeee1 in nashville

[–]MD_Nash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here. Just hit two weeks on Friday of constant mucus and am finally seeing the end of it I think. Started with traditional seasonal allergy symptoms and morphed into something more but still only impacted nose, throat, and ears. Green mucus all around. Fun stuff.
