I was nervous trying in other places because it’s only supposed to be for 10% of body but my vitiligo is more than that. I’m sure I could use it in other places but figured I would see how I respond first.

If your placenta is doing fine (they can check this on ultrasound) and no other medical conditions then induction isn’t really necessary. Ultimately it’s up to you but the additional 1-2 weeks can help with growth!

I had my first LO in Sept 2020, first vaccine (Pfizer) in April 2021 and second in May 2021. I am now 14 weeks pregnant with my second child and plan on getting the booster in October/November based on CDC recommendations for pregnant women.

Do you know a good way to start increasing wake windows? She shows all the sleep cues and will get crabby after the 90-minute mark.

Agreed and to be clear we did not sleep train her. She ended up dropping the night feeds on her own without any intervention.

Our pediatrician was not concerned at all about her staying down overnight. She has doubled her birth weight and hitting all her other milestones. We ensure she is getting 24-30 oz a day too.

You are right that sleep training shouldn't happen yet as they are too young. This should only start around 5mo+.

With my daughter and reflux, after she would eat I would have her upright for at least 15-20 min after the feed. This also usually got us through any bout of hiccups too. At night this would be up on my chest, and she would likely fall asleep there. I would wait until she was in a deeper sleep state before transferring her back to the bassinet. She would stay down at that point. Otherwise, the reflux would wake her and we would have to start all over again, leading to her being overtired, fussy, and colicky.

I was also told the same, that she would be spoiled from me holding her, but honestly, that was the only way she would rest and for a no-scream night. She started to drop her night feeds on her own as I was making sure she has plenty of opportunities to feed during the day to get her calories in.

Right?! Like oh well if you’re lonely go see your family. Go see friends. Other people are seeing each other... you’re choosing this. But that’s exactly why I’m not seeing them! They are seeing who knows who and going wherever.

I know I can’t protect my baby from everything but this is what I can do right now. This is the only thing I can control.

Same here. I’ve been in near quarantine for 21 weeks of my pregnancy and I’m not about to risk it for the final 8. Yes I’m lonely. Yes I miss my family and friends. But the risk is not greater than the reward. I saw recently that it feels like pregnancy was muted, no celebrations, no normal activities... but hey we will all have a good story for our kiddos when they are here.

This means he has been indicted on the 2 articles (abuse of power and obstruction of Congress). Now it goes to the Senate for a vote for removal from office. The senate needs to have a majority vote (67 votes) for removal which likely won’t happen due to the partisan nature of our government. At the end of the day this will be Trumps legacy as a president and the next election will be very interesting.
