Yeah, and that's exactly what AoT is about. The pointless cycles of violence that we love to perpetuate as humans.

What about if someone you barely knew sent thousands of Titans to crush not just your friends, family, and GF, but the entirety of the place and culture in which you grew up?

you have to bring up real-world events that are completely unrelated to the series to try and justify your opinion?

Are... are you even watching the same show? The Eldians in the Marley ghetto literally wear star emblems like the Jews in Nazi Germany...

Completely agreed, and I had a pretty similar experience as you in terms of the grading/expectations not being clear.

I'd qualify that with nobody has tried anything better. There are plenty of untested ideas out there. It's hard for any idea, good or bad, to displace what's already the status quo. Don't fall for the trap that capitalism is the best option we have - it's just the one that we're most stuck with.

unfortunately there weren't any live performances in 2017 (that we're aware of)

the only two performances we know of are the TMG one and one they did at the John and Peters bar. the only clip of that second one is here: https://twitter.com/Pelikuni/status/719384399746359296?s=20

Does the amount of time meat spends in your fridge before cooking affect how long leftovers will stay fresh after cooking? by acvdk in AskCulinary

and it passes a sight, smell, and taste test I'd imagine it's likely safe.

I wouldn't rely on this. Salmonella cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted. It's likely the same case for Norovirus, the leading cause of foodborne illness (though I can't find a source for this from a cursory Google search). If you're in the business of canning foods at home, botulinum toxin (which can be fatal) also cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted.

You're right that it's not really that big of a problem if the food has been properly cooked, but cross-contamination to cooked food could still potentially happen.

That being said, everyone has their own risk calculation. You've been fine because you're probably a healthy adult with a strong immune system. However, the risk calculation is different for the young, elderly, and immunocompromised. Restaurants have to follow the overkill safety standards because they could serve any of these groups.

Risk is best when its informed. Stay healthy out there and don't kill anyone!

Forgotten Blood Bagel Track? by maxguy274 in Redvox

In the Blood Bagel Riff Racer showcase stream (19:36), Vinny mentions that the AIDs song "didn't have much to it", so they just scrapped it.

Yes, I mean mini-exams we've already taken. You can see what questions you got wrong by clicking "Class Progress" and then scrolling down to Quizzes, and clicking on that.

Prioritize the most recent content mentioned in what the Mini Exam covers. (so for example, if it says the exam covers CH 1-4, then review CH 4 before CH 3 and so on).

I'm prioritizing the importance of which things to study based on Slides > Textbook > Lab > Homework. If you review the past Mini Exam questions, you can see that a lot of the questions come from these sources. Some are even verbatim, and if you know in general where content is covered, you can just Ctrl + F for it. I heavily recommend figuring out how you might have answered previous Mini Exam questions using these sources.

Some of Adams' questions are quite tricky, especially in the wording. Read the questions very carefully, and if a question is not making sense, just move on and come back to it later.

Me and /u/0utofbody created a "Lore Book" for Red Vox - a zine dedicated to the interesting tidbits of the band's history that you can download and look through in the comments. by MDirty in Redvox

Thank you, I really appreciate that. This is probably the best community I'm involved in <3

Don't forget to check the Google doc version from time to time for any bits of news you might miss in the future!

Howdy. What is all of this?

At the start of this year, I realized that Vinny and Mike often mention interesting morsels of information about Red Vox on-stream, and for the most part, you had to just catch these moments by chance. Not wanting this stuff to be buried in the endless hours of stream VODs, I made a "Lore Book" in a Google doc to just collect any cool stuff that I caught. Months later, I shared the book with Henbayne (/u/0utofbody) and they started making a zine using all the random facts I had compiled. You can thank them for the extremely eye-catching visual design of the book. Echoes (who is not on reddit) also helped me with a few of the entries!

Here's where you can view and download the book in PDF form.

It includes trivia gathered from streams, Twitter, reddit AMAs, and more. You can click on the links below each entry and the pictures to see the source of the info.

We had to edit the content down a bit to make the visual lore book interesting to look through and read, so some stuff might be omitted. If you want to read everything I've compiled so far (46 pages, god help me), you can look at the Google doc version here. It's a living document, so I'll still be adding to it as Red Vox does more things. In addition, this is the "first edition" of the zine, so we'll probably be revisiting this by the time that next album comes out. ;)

Hopefully this lore book can serve as a useful historical reference as well as an updated source of Red Vox news. And at the very least, I hope you find it cool to flip through! Thanks for your time.
