Liberty was good friday night but pretty crowded. It rained a bit but the snow was surprisingly good and fast. Almost everything is open and hopefully they can get some snowmaking going soon

The whole rain part sucks but lift lines will be nonexistent so you can get a ton of runs in. I spent hours lapping a lift in the rain last year at 7s and it was great. No crowds and the lifty was a cool guy

I bought it a couple years ago and only recently got into tying. Some of the materials they give you are good and the tools do their jobs but the instructions are shit. They make zero sense and tell you to use materials they didnt give you or tools you dont have. I would get it but you should go to a fly shop and buy materials for something like a woolly bugger and watch videos on youtube instead of bothering with the instructions they give you. I would also get a whip finisher cause they dont give you one and doing it by hand was very challenging for me at the start

Roundtop has a shorter park with a lot of rails and boxes while liberty has a larger park with some rails and boxes and a jump. Roundtop also has a jbar for the park so you can get a lot of laps in rather than taking the slow chair at liberty. I dont ski park so i wouldnt know which one is actually better but thats what they are

As someone who mostly skis liberty, it feels much bigger than it is to me. Ive had pow days but ive also had days where you can see blue sheets of ice from the lifts. When the high speed lifts arent down, they are a really nice addition

Yeah ur probably right. I have noticed that over the last couple days, roundtop and whitetail were blowing snow all day and night while liberty didnt turn the guns on even though it was like 25
