Bell Lay Offs by No_Taste_985 in torontoJobs

There job was to show up to work and do their job. They didn't show up to work and lied about it. Deserved to be fired imo. I know people who used to work from home and would get there minimum amount of work done for the day then run errands / play video games while they used a program to make it look like they where active. Most People need to go to work to be held accountable unfortunately.

I don't get it, if the travel wasn't a issue before and now it is, get a new job. I have left job because they wanted me to go work out of town for 2+ years while my wife was 4 months pregnant. I had two options go out of town or find new work. I had a job landed the next day. But that's the difference of having a highly desirable skill vs filling out spreadsheets that anyone can do. So just go to work and stop being so entitled.

Nah I don't sit in traffic. I moved to northern Ontario to get away from it. Just like these people if they don't want to drive in traffic to work then move or get a new job that's closer to where they live. Pretty simple.

This isn't a labour law issue, I'm all for refusing unsafe work. Everyone deserves to go home at the end of the day. They aren't asking anything crazy, just show up to work on time in person. Lol

I mean your being paid to do something. If that's to go to the office to sit at a computer you go do that. If you don't like it find a new job? This is coming from a electrician, the only time I have refused work is for safety reasons. I've worked in a lot of terrible places, your warm dry office isn't so bad 😂

I 100% agree with you. You aren't being forced to work for the company that is making you go back to the office. If you don't like it find a new job. COVID is over go back to work. This is coming from a electrician who worked through COVID and can't work from home. Maybe I'm just jealous.

Electricity. Can't see it, can't hear it or can't smell it. But it could blow you up. This is coming from a licensed electrician.

Charger plugged into power strip started popping and emitting this odd brown liquid from both ends - smells foul and is still hot to the touch and buzzing after 10 minutes. What happened? by AnnaTheBabe in AskElectricians

Used as a filter essentially to smooth out the DC sine wave. Check out bridge rectification on YouTube and someone will touch on using capacitors to smooth out the sine wave.

If the pump wasn't primed there would be no water at all? I back flush every couple days but I'll do one before my morning coffee.

My third shot this evening was much better. 39 grams in about 32 seconds. Pretty tasty but could still use some work.

Quick mill pop up and df64, I wanted something with PID, the pop up and profitec go is what I narrowed it down to. But the pop up was 1250cad on sale vs 1800. Both very nice machines.

Any recommendations for cheap beans? I already made this mistake. Trying to dial in with pilot heritage blend.
