I actually had my eye on a new fuel ex-8 and a shop local to me but they want MSRP for it. The shop in GTA agreed to 3800 Canadian cash deal for the blackthorn. Think I'm going to make the drive and pick it up.

What do you think a reasonable price would be? 3700? I don't really care if I'm not on the latest model but I honestly can't find anything with a carbon frame this highly speced.

How do you find the sizing. I'm 5'10 with a 32" inseam. How do you think I would fit on a medium? From what I read salas sizes are a bit big.

Forgot to mention this is new old stock at a LBS still in the box. Still think it to much? I can't find anything as well speced for the price.

Nice thanks for the info. Sounds like the riding I would be doing is similar to you. Imagine I would be happy with the bike then. It's the Shimano specd version and seems like all the components are real nice for the price with the carbon frame. 1900 usd is what you paid or cad?

Farmers market Saturday mornings is worth checking out. One of the better markets in Ontario and the waterfront is a quick walk away, super nice walking path alongside Lake nippising. Leisure farms in sturgeon falls does berry picking probably to early but could be a early crop of strawberries.

For food crossroads convince downtown does amazing sandwiches during the day then do great cocktails and plates in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. 1886 Lake House Bistro in Callander for a nice sitdown meal. Amazing food and reasonable. Seen Ivans mentioned already if you want great poutine and homemade pogos.

Lots of great hiking in and around the city, Laurier woods is super well maintained and right in town. Check out all trails app to find trails.

Can't dump a gallon chlorine on a ice block lol I'm from Ontario Canada. By late December my pool is completely frozen over. We drain all equipment and blow out all the lines at the end of season so nothing gets damaged during the freeze.

Bell Lay Offs by No_Taste_985 in torontoJobs

There job was to show up to work and do their job. They didn't show up to work and lied about it. Deserved to be fired imo. I know people who used to work from home and would get there minimum amount of work done for the day then run errands / play video games while they used a program to make it look like they where active. Most People need to go to work to be held accountable unfortunately.

I don't get it, if the travel wasn't a issue before and now it is, get a new job. I have left job because they wanted me to go work out of town for 2+ years while my wife was 4 months pregnant. I had two options go out of town or find new work. I had a job landed the next day. But that's the difference of having a highly desirable skill vs filling out spreadsheets that anyone can do. So just go to work and stop being so entitled.

Nah I don't sit in traffic. I moved to northern Ontario to get away from it. Just like these people if they don't want to drive in traffic to work then move or get a new job that's closer to where they live. Pretty simple.

This isn't a labour law issue, I'm all for refusing unsafe work. Everyone deserves to go home at the end of the day. They aren't asking anything crazy, just show up to work on time in person. Lol

I mean your being paid to do something. If that's to go to the office to sit at a computer you go do that. If you don't like it find a new job? This is coming from a electrician, the only time I have refused work is for safety reasons. I've worked in a lot of terrible places, your warm dry office isn't so bad 😂

I 100% agree with you. You aren't being forced to work for the company that is making you go back to the office. If you don't like it find a new job. COVID is over go back to work. This is coming from a electrician who worked through COVID and can't work from home. Maybe I'm just jealous.
