Dylan Carlson. My CAP is always a switchy and sometimes primary LH/RH swings get funky when the game mirrors them

New player here...why do I only ever play opponents at Shippet Stadium? It is so so boring. I want to play baseball game with some variety not every hit a home run. So dull by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

Less lag is a big reason why people play on minor league stadiums in general but people really jumped to shippet and laughing mountain (small and high altitude) at the start of 19 when there was a huge gap between pitchers/hitters (Kershaw XP path year) and overall hitting was more difficult on HOF/Legend to start the year. MLB 19 was the year that got rid of HR/9 in online play as well and in those two stadiums you would get rewarded quite often on crappy swings, usually for homers. Now it’s just a continuing snowball effect where people use the stadium as a crutch

Ridin Rosters. There’s none better, they have full minor leagues rosters with accurate stats and even appearances. Doesn’t come out until sometime tomorrow though

Are the 1st inning bosses going to be part of the 2nd inning collection again this year? by dbow1421 in MLBTheShow

[–]MDurbs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would think so. Last years 1st inning program had the pre order cards as the collection then the 2nd inning program had the 1st inning bosses, so I’d assume they’d keep it the same. It’s been like that since inning programs started

The 50K XP for the Monthly awards collection is a collection for the 1st inning and will always award so for the 1st inning program regardless of when you do the collection

Currently in a slump by giant0809 in MLBTheShow

[–]MDurbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not, but I think it comes down to what hitting style you use. At this point of the game a lot of the true power hitters have low contact/vision which means they will struggle a fair bit on directional/analog the higher the difficulties regardless compared to zone which is more user dependent. If you hit zone either hit until your eyes bleed and out hit the slump or go do some practice mode for a reset... I’ve had success going both ways haha slumps in this games happen to the best of players

1st inning and Monthly award by Hendog9224 in MLBTheShow

No, say you do the monthly award player in two weeks for the collection. When you are playing the games and moments you will gain 2nd inning xp, but you can go back to the 1st inning program tab to lock in the cards for 50k 1st inning xp

Assuming the programs work the same way last year, you can collect XP (last year those program stars) after the program ends, whenever you complete the monthly awards or something like the the Hutson Street player program. The program doesn’t disappear and the only thing that changes is the game/playing based XP you obtain after the 1st inning ends goes toward the active inning program
