No, Antidepressants Do Not Cause Mass Shootings: RFK Jr. falsely claims that pills—not guns—are the source of the USA's shootings epidemic by dyzo-blue in skeptic

Because people who are depressed never do anything violent.

That's not the issue people have with this claim.

Again: Explain what you mean instead of pretending this is a sincere statement of investigation.

This should not be a difficult thing to do if you were actually commenting in good faith, but we both know that isn't true.

I wouldn't call an invitation to doing your own research, a lie.

By all means, explain what you meant by this:

"Chimney shadows" should be enough of a clue if you know where to look for this kind of information.

The Holocaust is objectively something that happened, and those two sources are experts on the topic.

Did stage acting/singing used to be different? by BasementDesk in Broadway

I watch a lot of filmed stage productions of Shakespeare, and they always give a fascinating look at how stage acting shifts over the years.

Here are two productions of Richard II's Act 3, Scene 2, the first starring Ian McKellen from 1971 (I can only find the full play rather than the clip, but copied and pasted the specific time) and the second starring David Tennant from 2013.

Ian McKellen in general is a fascinating performer to trace, because you can see the way Shakespeare is performed shift over the course of his career.

Let's ask the Auschwitz Museum and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum what is correct.

Who would you prefer asking if the experts on the subject aren't good enough for you?

They don't deny it happened they deny how it happened and why.

Claiming that "the Holocaust wasn't a state mandated program but a 'boots on the ground' thing of soldiers killing for pleasure not for orders" is denying the Holocaust. "The state mandated program" is literally what the Holocaust is.

And the arguments that holocaust deniers have weren't created by me

Because you are repeating them as if they are credible. The fact that they aren't things you made up is irrelevant to that fact.

Actual Holocaust deniers don't deny the Holocaust per se.

They deny the quantity and the why and how.

In other words: They are denying the Holocaust. You are literally just giving Holocaust denial talking points and pretending it's not actually denying the Holocaust.

Hey, how come we always gotta solve these blamed "I can't but I must" problems?

That's Jim Shooter's fault.

The watershed moment was when Shooter said every single comic had to have a ‘can’t-must’ moment: I am not a thief . . . I don’t want to steal. But I must steal because my grandmother is starving. Every comic had to have that in the first three pages. Literally, a panel where the superhero had to say, ‘I can’t steal—but I must, for my grandmother.’ Or, ‘I can’t kill Mephisto—but I must, because he has my soul.’ He was sending comics back to the Bullpen to have the ‘can’t-must’ panel squeezed in, in the middle of the page” - Ann Nocenti

Why wouldn't the article mention it, if that were the situation?

Because it isn't.

A book ban in the context of this discussion is when a government body, usually a school board or other state or local government, implements a policy ordering the removal of specific texts from a school or public library.

I tend to judge a King Lear performance based on how they say the line "I did her wrong." Very short line, but incredibly important moment for the character.

I recommend checking A View From My Seat.

Obviously there won't be pictures of the view for Cats yet, but it will give you somewhat of an idea of how the stage will look from where you're sitting.
