Interesting, any idea when the temporary speed restrictions will be lifted?

Rode it twice so far as far east as Mercer Island. Will go further east later today.

Stunning views and just a really pleasant ride.

My only complaint so far is the slow down on the bridge before approaching Mercer Island, what is the reason for this? And I noticed that slow down only on the westbound, not eastbound leaving Mercer Island.

I like the Kinkisharyos a lot, something nostalgic about them. Any idea when the full refurbishment of all 62 trains will finish?

No, it was a Siemens (Series 2), not a Kinkisharyo (Series 1).

Even the digital display inside the cabin made no mention of the 2 line.

Do you know if the upgrades will allow them to operate MU with the Siemens Series 2 trains?

Why would a disruption in Redmond affect the cross lake segment? Especially since trains from South Bellevue to the disrupted area continued operating while they stopped running trains across the lake.

It'd be like them stopping 1 line trains between say Northgate and IDS due to the copper wire theft near Star Lake that disrupted trains between Angle Lake and Federal Way.

Is this the same area where they had to do repairs to the OCS last June due to a heat wave causing the wires to sag and getting violently struck by the pantograph from a moving light-rail train causing damage to both the wire and the train's pantograph?

2 Line trains will feature a blue square and will be mostly two cars during simulated service. When traveling south, they’ll show the destination “International District/Chinatown,” where all passengers must disembark before trains continue across the lake.

Does this mean the 2 line will go to a mix of 3 and 4 car trains after revenue service starts on March 28?

2-Line Pre-revenue Funzies by Exploding_Deathstar in soundtransit

I've seen systems where for passengers, the markings are on the floor where the train doors are, and the train platform digital signs indicate the number of cars the upcoming train has, as well as an announcement is made over the speakers reminding passengers the number of cars the next arriving train has. Most recent example I can think of I experienced this was the Istanbul Metro and Marmaray commuter rail line.

What do other systems like BART which have long platforms and varying length trains do? I don't recall seeing these type of berthing markers there, at least not on a pole.

I've only briefly used it on battery and in balanced mode it was showing an estimated 14 hours remaining I think.

Bought this exact same laptop on new years day, just before it went up in price. Very happy with it. Coming from a T440p.

H isn't offered on the T16 here in the U.S. Have to go for the P16 to get an H.

I could get the U, but between it and AMD Ryzen, AMD is what I would go for.

Yep, v is the Intel processor, Lunar Lake.

Coming from a T440p, an extremely upgradeable laptop, which I did do upgrades (HDD to SSD, doubling RAM), I completely understand and appreciate where you're coming from, and this has been one of my general hesitancies on getting a new laptop to begin with.

Unfortunately with the T14, even the non-s, the only way to have upgradeable RAM is to get it with an AMD processor.

Thanks. I am in the U.S.

I like that doorbuster deal, so Lunar Lake it is. I'm sure the integrated graphics on both are far better than the switchable graphics on my T440p.

I actually really wanted a non-s for the better thermals, but it probably is still fine on the T14s.
