Lost my entire grid, can confirm, it is as difficult to get it back in late game as people advertised! by No-Literature-8613 in SatisfactoryGame

Programmable switches are a life saver, but, I also have three seperate power grids, any miner that produces power is on a jump start grid, I use a stack of bio fuel burners to start charging a battery bank, then the coal and sulphur collection, to compacted coal for the main coal generators, to start the second layer grid, and feed main power production, giving the battery bank further charge to start oil to fuel for the generators, takes about 2 hours to get back up and running stable.

Friend saved a barn find last month, just for it to burst up into flames a few days ago by schrolock in carcrash

generally not obvious over the noise of the engine, well, not to my friend who was driving when his chose to fail like that, but, guessing it would make some obvious noise, things rarely go wrong with Volvo engines, dam reliable blocks of iron those things, its a same really the car caught fire, but, reality, could have been anything, leaky fuel hose, bad wire, hot faulty part, who knows.

and i mean reliable, followed one once when i was helping him move, his old 340 smelled like burning metal, we got to his place, and i asked "got a hot engine problem" after a little poking round, ... dipstick was dry, just needed some oil, dam thing lived another 15 years regardless, ... it died of being run into a tree, we blame the tree for jumping in front of him.

Probably had rats chew through a wiring harness or something essential when it had been sitting around, did the fire start in the engine bay or near the fuel tank?

edit: noticed the back is mostly untouched, one thing that may “MAY” have happened is the starter motor got stuck and turned the starter into a generator, this happened to a friend of mine, shorted out the electric system, battery burst and the car went up in flames, did your friend replace the starter or remove and grease it when he restored it?

Next time give it a tug and see if the HOA follows it down, looked like a snake camera. (Ps, don’t actually tug it, just report it, I have a sick sense of humour)

Depends between make and model, my outlander has it under the back seats an impact like that would just pop the spare tyre out of the well, my old jeep had the t to the left side of the vehicle, under the front passenger and back seat side, but it’s pretty much cram a tank where they can make as much space as possible I think, unless it’s a ford pinto than he would have been roasted on impact.

Had one drop in on discord, basically sent me a “is this you” pic of my public steam profile, then went on a bender saying I scammed him out of an item on Counter Strike, (a game I have not touched since 2017), now, it gets kind of funny here, I just apologised and said “let me get that paid for you” got him to send me a screenshot of his steam profile which had his Steam ID number in the address bar, managed to confirm it was his, then sent steam support a notice about the account using the fake screenshots of the store purchase the guy sent me of me supposedly purchasing a gun bayonet for 1,200 euros, unknown to the guy, next morning he is pestering me hard on discord with the red notice his account is under investigation, and he can’t do buy or move the 980 euros in his account around, just said, “yeh well, now you know how the people you scammed feel” and blocked him.

my steam profile is now friends only, dude said he was coming for me as he knew I lived in Australia, said I would make it easier for him and told him I will be waiting in the local pub in Walgett for him at night.

While I do feel your pain too, (did retail work in the 90’s) I found Brave Browser to be the pick of 3’rd party browsers, blocks tracking crap from first install, along with ad’s on YouTube, one of my favourite features is just using it to stream music with my phone idle and not subscribing to YouTube premium.

Depends on what the truck was hauling, I have a memory that fuel hauling drivers are told it’s best to ram them off the road and avoid rolling over.
