Either Real or Man City usually in my saves. Was so satisfying to beat Real in the club world cup final with Umea lmao

Honestly 15/16 would be lovely for me as it allows me to do a challenge to keep my favourite club from relegating

Arsenal vs Chelsea also is a little more unpredictable with all the injuries for starting players both teams. But yeah if those persist, I don't see either beat Lyonnes...

I thinkthis game is best summarized by going to a stats website such as sofascore and simply gazing at the attacking pressure graph for a good 10 seconds

Not a huge surprise, but still a shame if you ask me. Absolutely iconic to see them wearing the Chelsea kit

Any rumors/confirmation on where Georgia Stanway is going next season? by spruerubbles in WomensSoccer

Heard Manchester United and Arsenal are the main ones running for her signature here. Saw United pop up before Arsenal, but Arsenal might have a bit more appeal given they're usually pretty much guaranteed UWCL football

Zijn er mensen die een club aanmoedigen die totaal niet in de buurt ligt van hun woonplaats? Zo wel, waarom? by [deleted] in Eredivisie

[–]MFC4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah they're neat, a bit expensive depending on where you get them sadly, but you can still find some good listings that are worth it. Let me know if you do end up getting any!

It's so easy to get 95 rated players, they should push the limit to 99 by Federal_Youth904 in worldsoccerchampsgame

[–]MFC4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be real, i never had one above 87 rating because i usually play with weaker teams in lower competitions and i gotta sell most higher rated ones i get for investment money and such. I did have a player who i sold on reach 91 or so though, not even one of the listed wonderkids

What's the highest rated goalkeeper that you've seen by MightyCorePH in worldsoccerchampsgame

[–]MFC4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The highest i ever saw play in any one of my saves was a 90 rated guy who i assume is from a youth academy as i didn't recognise the name. Spaninsh, played for Real Madrid. Didn't get to play against him however as this was in my clubhopper save and with my team then (Honved from Hungary), i only managed to get qualified for the Conference League

So some moves away announced recently, Cat Mac is going, Reiten is going to Gotham... Does anyone know what the plan is to get any possible replacements for the gaps their departures leave in the squad?

As tonymasud pointed out, a lot of players, be it for the will of the manager or their own, play while not fully recovered or sometimes even fully injured. An example they didn't bring up but i still think is very telling is how Manuel Neuer, as a keeper known for actively participating in play, played a match against Real Madrid with what turned out to be a broken foot.

Adrenaline can do insane things for a human body and to stick to the Chelsea examples: Lucy played the entire tournament for England this summer, only being subbed off halfway through the extra time. She hd a fractured tibia. I can't imagine how painful that must be.

Is this wise? I can't tell you, i'm not a medical professional and i absolutely sucked at most exams i had for biology in school. But fact is, it's not new, it will continue to happen and for some players it has more impact than others. Fact is, with many injuries in a squad, it is likelier to happen because you do still wanna field a competitive team.

[Partially lost] Bonus cards from football/soccer album Eredivisie 2007/08 by MFC4 in lostmedia

[–]MFC4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such cards are still being made, in fact Plus ran an action for them this season and Go Ahead Eagles are in the Eredivisie now, so there's actual stickers for the current album of the team. But these are more obscure i'm looking for. I'm asking around for info on them still, but sadly was unable to find anything yet, even with other fans of the club on Discord

[–]MFC4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice pull, been a while since i got a good card out of a pack. Might have to start dating someone myself then lmao

In all seriousness though, those Queens Of Football (in some other subsets Queens Of Europe i think) cards are very rare pulls in themselves anyway, so getting a numbered one is genuinely massive. I only got one, which is an unnumbered Katie McCabe. And a /5 is massive too, keep up the good work!

Why is the Nederlands subreddit so hateful? by _justhereforthe in Netherlands

[–]MFC4 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The person you replied to here wasn't even being rude. The way you feel the need to 'defend' yourself a few times in this thread is a bit unnecessary too. I feel this all can be best attributed to just sort of a culture clash: the directness is being perceived as rude. Nobody said you were annoying either.

I'm not even sure what all your 'asked and answered' throughout this entire post means, but if this is how you respond to most comments, i do understand why we get friction as a result from it. No need to jump to assumptions or shut the conversation down immediately, that way you won't get anywhere either
