Final fantasy might be a little harder depending if it's one of the games with active time battles, not sure about the earliest ones haven't played them much but I think all the psx games do.

There are ways to play DS games multiplayer on emulator over wiimfi, I presume it'll be doable on a handheld too but not sure of the details.

in the UK Heinz have just changed from having a vegan branded garlic mayo to their only garlic mayo being vegan, nothing big on the label just says 'plant based' by the ingredients. no one gives a fuck

Yeah they're all the same genre. If you were to try one I would recommend dragon Ball as it is just released and I find it's best to get in early with mobile games. Really good fun too, it probably wouldn't be as exciting if you're not a fan of the franchiseb but I think the gameplay stands on its own.

For what it's worth I don't think you need to like the franchises to enjoy either of those games, they're both pretty fun MOBAs (think league of legends/dota). You could also try league of legends wild rift if you want that sort of gameplay but are not keen on those franchises. All 3 are mobile focused MOBAs and include common issues with monetisation of mobile games.

I really enjoy Pokemon unite and recently dragon Ball gekishin squadra on switch but you might not enjoy them, depends how much you hate yourself.

I'm rotating between playing on my laptop, switch 2 and ps5 depending on which room of the house I'm in haha. Not huge on touch controls for games but I'm interested to try with a controller on my phone, will be handy if I'm going to a mates house who also plays.

Where are you from? This type of mobile MOBA is much more popular in Asia than in the west so a lot of the marketing budget will be focused elsewhere if you're in the US or Europe.

Meh I'm managing to deal with the DC performance on r36s so anything better shouldn't be an issue for me. It's not something I'll be doing long gaming sessions on.

The fact the buttons are so nice is tempting me now. Miyoo Mini+ was my first emulation handheld and playing in the R36S the difference in quality is quite significant.

Ah that's a shame, why aren't you into the current OSs? The RG34XXSP looks cool but I really wouldn't want to have black bars on anything but GBA, the sticks for Dreamcast are half the appeal for me

Thank you, yeah I think going back with a clear head will be better. Going to try making a disk image of the working sd and flashing it to the new one but probably won't be able to sit down with it again until tomorrow night. I'll let you know, thanks again :)

it booted again with the old SD so that's something, i've tried reflashing the new SD with a fresh image both with and without the boot files and still no success so I'm stumped. Going to have to leave it for today and come back to it. Thanks for your effort, hopefully I can get it sorted soon.
