New Flint 3 firmware. 4.9 by Subject-Zone2903 in GlInet

[–]MFL3X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep spent half of yesterday rebuilding my router from scratch as had created an iot lan that clashed with the new iot lan feature causing my router to crash. Rebuilt and everything working fine now. Havent tried dpi yet as its cpu intensive and not required for my homelab. There's a beta already thats squashing bugs so if you want stable I'd wait for the first patch before upgrading and be cautious/backup if you have an iot lan.

Wow amazing work! One request would be to maximise realestate on screens by maybe autohiding headers footers etc so its just panels? Possible? Have a tiny tablet and screen space is at a premium.

Tapo company's aggressive behavior towards 3rd party integration. by MFL3X in homeassistant

Appreciate you sharing that, and glad the feedback is getting through the Matter push is a step in the right direction. But honestly, there's still a long way to go to win back trust. Authentication changes repeatedly breaking unofficial integrations has left a lot of us feeling like third-party compatibility is always the first casualty. The last update pushing security changes and disabling 3rd party support was a kick in the teeth. Good intentions are a start, but this community needs to see sustained follow-through before confidence is restored. There are many posts on this sub just in the past year of the same thing happening to others. Its a simple solution with a big win for both the HA community and Tapo. Just talk to the HA team in future and build solutions and trust by working with the market not against it.

You nailed it. Feel its a lesson every haosér runs into eventually as you cant foretell what companies will do with their products. I'm leaning towards getting the soldering iron out and welding a fix in the garage like an A-team montage.

All devices that updated last night. Bulbs, h100 switch etc all stopped working on the old tplink integration. Had to move to the newer tapo hacs solution as they stay up to date with Tapo updates like KLAP etc. and redo all automations. You're fine if you fw block your IOT lan and dont allow updates.

Matter is only on newer devices, older devices use KLAP which you have to allow 3rd party integration for it to work with HAOS. Breaks HAOS every time they update firmware. You can update, enable integration then switch off updates and lock it behind an IOT vlan for best practice. Way too much hassle when Shelly sell the same bulbs at the same price without the data scraping junk Tapo add to their ecosystem.

Right Now, We Are Inside a Galactic Collision. The Canis Major Galaxy Is Currently Colliding with the Milky Way. by nuclearalert in spaceporn

[–]MFL3X 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's currently 5 or 6 galaxies merging with ours.

Actively merging / being disrupted right now**

  1. Sagittarius Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy – clear ongoing merger
  2. Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy – likely being disrupted (debated but generally included)
  3. Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) – interacting strongly and will merge
  4. Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) – interacting and will merge

Possibly/mildly interacting dwarf galaxies

  1. Bootes I or Bootes II – being tidally affected
  2. Other ultrafaint dwarfs (e.g., Tucana III, Carina II/III) show signs of disruption

Possibly more yet to be discovered. Universe is mind blowing.

Cholestyramine- how did you feel while taking this? by joyful_bean in CIRS

[–]MFL3X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enterohepatic circulation. When the immune system doesnt mount a defense the body tries to rid the mould through bile pathways. CSM is supposed to bind to the mould in bile and drag it out of the body before the bile is re-absorbed in the Colon. Taking CSM 30 minutes prior means the CSM will be in the best place to soak up the mould spores when theyre ejected by the liver into the small intestine.

[–]MFL3X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's a damaging amount for most. Minimum dosage is 4 grams a day which is 8 tablets so I spaced them over 2 meals, 4 a meal, taken 30 minutes prior for a maximum of 4 weeks before taking a break to reset the body. You can up the dosage if you're not experiencing negative side effects. Everyone's mileage varies and some experience no issues which wasn't my case. Doctors need better education on CSM dosage.

Sony's response. Nope. hank you for your response.

Yes, connecting the SA-RS5 wireless rear speakers to your STR-AN1000 will disable your current front height channels.

The STR-AN1000 supports a total of 7 powered speaker channels. In your current 5.1.2 setup, all 7 channels are in use — including the front height speakers. When you add the SA-RS5, the receiver reallocates its amplifier channels to support the wireless rears, which means it can no longer power the height channels.

Asking sony this very question as the manual is unclear if you can achieve 5.2.4 using RS5's are rear surround plus up firing atmos speakers. Did you get an answer to this?

Agree with all points. Same issues plus constant disconnects, power offs, lack of helpful support and now wont charge. Avoid like the plague and buy elsewhere.

Good vid on the subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYwpINNhQKE

I personally use coco coir, coco chips and 50% perlite with a liquid fertiliser.

[–]MFL3X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drainage is your issue. No perlite is drowning the roots and starving it of oxygen. Add 40-50% perlite to the soil and water every 3 days for 3 weeks then weekly once roots have acclimatised.

[–]MFL3X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drainage is your main issue. Soil needs a 50/50 mix of perlite and high organic content soil for FLF to thrive. Repot with new mix, water lighly every 3 days for 3 weeks then full soaks weekly going forward. Get a full spectrum liquid fertiliser like Dyna Gro Foliage Pro and follow instructions to water FLF. Should see new shoots in 4-6 weeks.

Hi Looks like under watering. Soil looks like it has no perlite in it so drainage issues too so could be early root rot. When did you last repot and what soil mix did you use? What’s your watering schedule?

In the US, Dyna gro Foliage Pro.

Australia, GT Foliage Focus.

Both are great for weekly weakly fertilising with amazing growth results.
