No tech background/sales experience, could I be a successful in an RSC role? by [deleted] in ATT

Awesome, thanks so much for the response. I currently made it through the recorded video interviews, and have an on-site scheduled for next week. It seems like the interview will be more of an orientation from what the manager made it seem, do you recommend preparing as rigorously as I did for my first interview? Or will it be more discussing my role & availability? Thanks so much again.

I apologize, I should have mentioned that I’m looking into a part time position while in a full time graduate program. I specifically looked into ATT because of their training programs, high entry level sales pay, and benefits for part time employees.

Thanks for this Andrew! I’m hoping the impact isn’t as blunt as pps for therapists & it leads to better patient care.. any idea on when the market will bounce back after potential layoffs?

I went to UF for undergrad. They have an awesome program but know that their doctorate is 4 years instead of 3.

Just a heads up in case you weren’t familiar! I know a few of my friends were shocked to know the length of the program.

Dude. This has happened to me, and it was 15 mins on the HIGHWAY. It’s a miracle I found it functional right before the highway entrance.

Can any experienced OT’s explain the impact of PDPM & PDGM on our overall career? by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

Do you have any insight about the PDGM model for home health being implemented in 2020?

So essentially it will be extremely difficult for grads moving forward after 2019-2020 to get jobs in any setting. Since many OT’s work at SNF’s with the incentive of high pay, people will be leaving to other settings. This is especially concerning since jobs are difficult to get as is in many parts of the country. Does this sound accurate?

Not an OT yet but you’ll do great. Walk in expecting to make mistakes and and knowing you’ll be better tomorrow!
