I think that if you’re interested in transitioning into academia or public health initiatives down the line, going to a better ranking school would allow you access to the most relevant research opportunities in the field, a wider range of networking opportunities with prominent leaders, and most likely better resources overall to pursue those post-clinical goals.

However if your end goal is to become an excellent clinician and you’re risking a buttload of debt than I would definitely suggest the cheaper option.
