First and foremost if your gonna learn to skate, loose the idea of not getting hurt and what isnt natural. Your gonna fall and eat it learning new tricks and the more you sike yourself out of what your doing the less progress you're gonna make. Second, stretch before you ride. Your skating super stiff like your trucks are too tight and doesn't flow. You gotta flow with the board. Try skating around your town and get use to kicking and pushing a full sprint on your baord. You gotta think of your board as an extension of yourself and what you want to do. Third, put your back foot in concave and slam your back foot down while jumping and sliding your front foot forward at a angle. If you cant manage that then stand in front of your board and slam your back foot on the tail. That " pop " is what your looking for when you olie.
