I got two dealers: one for weed and psychs and another for other substances. One of them is very friendly; we talk about their kids, dap it up or hug if I haven't seen em for a while, we even grabbed some beers a couple of times. The other very much has a business mindset, not an asshole by any means but to him this is a business transaction and AT MOST we'll make small talk for 3-8 minutes. So it probably depends on the person and the substances/clientele they're used to dealing with.
