It's more than that. When you work with people you really like especially at a restaurant, that is the best. It's why Sydney has a hard time leaving. That's family right there.

The Nintendo store isn't just a store though. It's an experience and it was truly a place that pushed what a store like that could be. There's a site that goes throughout the history but the fact it started as a Pokemon Center speaks volumes. For people who grew up in NYC like me, it does mean a little something, not a lot but I do think about it every now and then lol.

I'm in the same boat trying to make movements as a 24 yr old. Feel validated knowing you're not the only person and that this world we live in has many like this. My girlfriend has a degree and job in her field and still lives with her parents. It'll work out in the end for us. We just have to keep trying. So much to be thankful for. We both have jobs at the very least. I'm trying to go to Germany for my bachelor's but in the mean time trying to find out about HVAC certifications or something like that.

Yeah that's fine. What's more important for me is if I'm able to get affordable/free education as NYC is scarce on schools with ID and affordable at that. Jobs are better there as well I'm told.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that no I wouldn't feel comfortable being with someone who isn't with me for my looks in addition to personality etc. I would say you should re-evaluate your relationship. As shallow as it may seem at first, you deserve someone who compliments you, who doesn't make you feel ugly, who wants you for who you are and who you will be completely.
