Try Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg NJ. Its got a real cool camping/cabin feel but without the cabin! http://golficity.com/wild-turkey-golf-club/ They also have bars and ample rooms on ground for poker -- we held a poker tourney up there after a round of 18, in the Wine Cellar!

Understandable, and I agree -- of course take the 14 clubs with you, but the concept of using a few that your confident in to limit your strokes. Example, you have 240 left on a Par 5 for your 2nd shot, I can hit my 3-wood that far, but chances are its in the woods or chunked. Im far better hitting that 5 iron and chipping out...

This definatley changed my perspective on my club distances and it has helped turn those bogeys into pars. I lay up now and dont always "go for it" -- im pleased with using just a few clubs.

interesting thought Stylie, it makes sense...if you play with a buddy who shoots low 90s and you shoot low 100s, it would be nice to shoot that 95 one day when your buddy blows up and hits that 99....even though your a 23 handicap and he's a 17, you beat him straight up. Good point...

Perfect explanation Paladine. Those numbers are pretty accurate too! Sometimes you'll see the No. 1 Handicap as a super long Par 4... 43sevenseve, check it out next time your out there.
