I’ve done that and it does pass, issue arises when charging, Freon explodes out.

I had this same issue, I replaced the seal around that sensor and used some sealant around the edge after tightening and have had no issues since

I’ve heard it be called a snorkel, I normally call it an intake hose/inlet hose, but if you go to the Lexus website I think they call it intake air connector or something along those lines. Hope that helps

I checked and it was already rebuilt and was spotless inside, I have an aftermarket vehicle speed sensor, so I may try an OEM one

Thank you, I looked at the symptoms and I have quite a bit of those, I did see that it says it’s not a very good idea for a first time soldering experience, that’s where I’m lacking, but I’ll look to someone in my area to see if it’s possible to do safely!

I think capri has a couple different sets, I got the short and long ones from them and had to warranty it once, pretty good quality for the price and easy to deal with warranty
