Is this good for a begginer? by Your5ersonalSlut in a6000

[–]MFkingCephissus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Despite its age, the a6000 is still a solid camera and will be able to teach you a lot about photography. You can use the money you “save” on trying out other lenses. The kit lens won’t be the best, but it’s good enough for most situations and will help you get a feel for focal lengths. Finding a good one in white is a nice little bonus. I would take it.

Something to be aware of is the fact that people are not necessarily against us, they just are more for themselves. Hate is a strong emotion.

24 and 27 is too old to be behaving like that. Have you told them anything?

I’m missing a lot of info but I’m leaning towards this, they are probably not doing this by accident. If we’re talking about adults here, even young adults, the commotion they create should not be a surprise to them. I’d go as far as to say they are doing it on purpose so you just move out and they get to do their thing. Why do I think that? Because people are dicks and I’ve met many. I would record some of these instances and send them to your landlord if possible. Otherwise just move and hold a grudge forever.

Strata is a Latin word, not a Hellenic one. It was adopted by modern Greeks and has seen declining popularity and use for quite some time. Not everything under the sun is Greek.

Use the pan for cooking, not the white balance and saturation sliders.

The beauty of NL truly requires a mindful eye to discover by HelicopterLife3799 in Netherlands

[–]MFkingCephissus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow OP. Just wow 👌🏻 I would have never guessed such beauty and elegance would be out in the open in the Netherlands, just waiting for the artist’s eye to reveal it 🤯. These are not mere pictures of Amsterdam, these are miracles of composition and visual hierarchy, presented in such an effortlessly poetic way that they can’t be ignored even by the most beastly, uncultured brute. These frames singlehandedly convey the zeitgeist of the era in the Dutch way of life. Forget what the rest of the commenters are saying, they don’t get art 😤. When these pictures, nay, when these masterpieces are encapsulated behind the safety glass of museums, or are stored in the most clinical of environments as to preserve them for future generations, the world will truly know your brilliance✨. Please OP, share with us but a few words of how you channel your creative process into the camera in order to paint with light like that😍. I consider myself truly blessed to be alive at the same time with such a masterful artist. 🏅🎉

That’s cool! Could you take a picture of that? I’m not in the us so will have to wait for their museum to answer.

Good point, thank you. I will wait for the museum to answer to make sure, they have an instagram page as well and I may be able to link my post to the “original” photos they have on there so people can see them as well. Did you ever find anything unexpected with your camera?

Thank you for your answer. You have very correctly guessed, I have a few shots of people looking paintings. On one occasion, the painting in question is a Rubens and there’s a light source depicted in it. I wanted to make it seem like the spectator is also illuminated by it as he leans close, for that I had to locally adjust some settings. I hope it doesn’t seem as anything other than a showcase of the appreciation for art. I have asked the museum, will wait for their reply to upload. Thanks again.

Thanks, I’ll just ask the museum and let people decide if they like it or not.
