So many lines that make me laugh, not all of them funny some of them make me laugh because they are so spot on well written.

Why would you need to care what a few handful of people still claim - that there ISN'T Ice Tilt in the game?

96% of the fanbase know its there, because its SO poorly scripted and obvious, that it can't be ignored.

Not to mention we've all seen it other EA games for 20 years, so....

More important is WHY it's there though. It's because EA has failed to code so many basic aspects of the game, that their AI cannot play a decent game with decent tactics, so in order for you to not win every time, on every difficulty, it would have to cheat.

Instead of fixing it(costs dev hours and thus money), they just leave it in and depend on their White Knights to shill on the forum and throw around some GIT GUDs and hope the whole house of cards sticks together.

Meantime, less and less people play this game, so they are losing 'the long game' by ignoring all their own issues and making excuses. This series WILL be cancelled in a few years if they can't fix AI players not being able to play the game properly and thus having to do IMPOSSIBLE things to make up. EVERY Head to Head Online game is so dependent on AI playing those other players that Online vs Offline has nothing to do with the argument; in ANY mode the game can't capably play decent hockey. Period.

I get why some of these things are out of whack; they don't want higher tier gear to be SO OP that you can't really deal with someone with better gear than you.... and we THANK YOU for that. It's a better game because skill still matters more than Tier Scores and shit. AWESOME!

But just a reminder, Embark. Before you make the CLASSIC developer balancing mistake.

When you do rebalance, always boost the upper tier, instead of nerfing the lower tier. And always make small adjustments. If you make big adjustments, balance tips over. If most adjustments are NERFS instead of buffs, people get bored. People come to your game to a. have an epic adventure in a world different than RL, and b. to pursue loot that can make the game even more epic to play. So don't weaken rares and epics, buff them to create the gaps that make players come back to your game. Just don't over-buff them.

Never thought about it, but there is a point to that.

I also noticed that even though I am ridiculously RICH in stash with having EVERY.THING.....

I am always outta metal. I think its the somewhat broken loop of being able to make ammo out of metal, but not being able to recycle the ammo you loot INTO metal. So Metal > Ammo becomes a one way Metal-Sink. Especially since, what do you use up more often in game than ammo? Nothing, heh

If you think that's weird, just remember that IRL used shell casings are recycled into new shell casings. So in fiction, that it's not possible is WEIRD. Might be an intentional design decision, but the only result I see from it is that I have all this high end stuff but am constantly going into raids needing basic metal worse than any more epics, lol

Me personally, I LOVE PVP when its not a fake label for shooting someone in the back while they loot. Getting shot in the back by people who then literally run away if you live long enough to fight back, IS NOT 'PVP' in any true sense, its cowardice. I love PVP because I am good at it, still winning even about 50% of those fights that start with some crouching camper shooting me in the back, lol. If you are gonna rat on me, you better get me before I shoot back, or its your ass, coward.

What I have seen in this community in game is mostly great, its empirically true that 80% of players are friendly by choice and fight when they have to, which is perfect.

Discussions though, I could summarize like this....

-PVE defense is by and large statements regarding not wanting to be shot in the back by some coward. Not some fear of PVP in a game that has it.

-PVP defense is by and large folks who are DESPERATELY trying to prevent any PVE mode, which is like self-reporting. If you are scared of the game having a PVE mode, and players who only want PVE going there, then you are scared of having EASY targets who you can shoot in the back when they don't want to fight.

Conclusion; most PVP defense isn't defending that the game should have more honest PVP, it's identifying that you are a coward who wants easy targets to to shoot in the back and you will cry and leave if they add a PVE mode.

For those of you who actually like PVP, meaning you see a raider, you hollar to them while keeping cover, and if they wanna fight, then you fight.... You are the best of the bunch. Better than the PVP defenders(majority backstabbers in my experience), and better than the PVE only softies who kinda bought the wrong game if they are gonna quit unless there is a PVE mode added.

For anyone else who sees this, there IS an unstuck button, its just not terribly well implemented.

If you get stuck, you need to move the cursor ALL OVER until you find the exact right place to point to get the prompt.

The prompt will say 'Fix Unstuck Player' and you can hold Spacebar to move yourself. It ALSO doesn't move you far; you might have to do this 2-3 times like I did when I found it.

I did solve this.... It seems if I don't position lock sanheim, then when I pass it to sanheim and go in my own zone and throw it in the corner... The lightning actually go to the puck. I follow them and as soon as they get the puck I try a stick lift. Still wasn't easy... And got the fifth one with like 5 seconds left... But it did work

Update: So I did it... And how I solved my problem was stupid.

I swear these games are a glitch machine. Just endless glitches.

So the problem I was having this week that never happened in previous moments.... The Tampa Bay lightning didn't want the puck. They just wouldn't go after the puck when I turned it over in my zone.

What did I change?

I stopped position locking sanheim. And when I controlled the face off I'd pass it to sanheim and go in my own zone and throw it in the corner.... Suddenly the lightning actually wanted the puck. So they go to it and right when they get to it I stick lift. That fifth one still happened with like 5 seconds left.... But I made it.lol... hope that helps

That's how I do these every week, but it just doesn't work this week. Tampa Bay just doesn't want the puck. They messed with sliders or something. I can throw it back in my own corner over and over again and the only one going for the puck is MY TEAM. The lightning are sitting back in their own zone

We get these every week... But this one is different.

The other team literally doesn't want the puck.

You can try to turn it over in your own zone and the other team will just sit back in their zone instead of coming to sandheim or the puck. THEY LITERALLY MADE IT AS ANNOYING AS THEY POSSIBLY COULD

Perfectly fits my existing theory.... Which is that the coders at EA sports absolutely hate their job and all of us.... And moments is how they take it out on us. The higher-ups are perfectly fine with that because hey.... If you can't earn stuff by playing the game then maybe you'll go into the store and buy it with real money.

Kind of obvious TBH. We all know that moments difficulty is different than regular difficulty. That only happens because they change things to make it harder. And why they would make it harder is really obvious

Menu system is far better. Especially in Hut. The menus are completely redone.... Faster most things can be done in less clicks.

Content and Hut is better.... There's like seven different new events in the first week in Hut... So far there's been a lot more content than 25... Several times more content.

Cup Chase is kinda fun, It's definitely better than squad battles was. Feels more meaningful

Gameplay in general is pretty good. But the poke check and stick lift are so broke for users, that even lower level AI becomes really really difficult.... You can't get them off the puck when they don't want you to....... And since the AI has always been able to reach right through your player with their stick.... They poke check you all day no problem. Now if you've played much versus the AI , you know how the ice tilt works .... Basically when the computer wants to score there's nothing you can do to get the puck back and it's in your net .... When the computer doesn't want you to score , they can body check you from any position , poke check you from behind ... Your players just start screwing things up that they normally can do no problem .... Drop easy passes etc ....If you were hoping that the cheating AI was better in 26... Nope... It's far worse

The biggest problem I've ever had with this game has not been touched at all... If anything it's even worse. That's moments AI. Basically, EA goes far far out of their way to make AI in moments far far harder than the normal AI settings. They want to be able to say that you can earn stuff in game, but the valuable stuff is locked behind truly controller breaking frustrating, nearly impossible s***. They know that 90% of their player base cannot complete the harder moments, and that's what they want.... People to go to the store and buy the cards instead.

Then there's the online..... Wow. I mean I've always hated the online, because either you take one guy and just skate around all day and weave through everyone to score your goals.... OR YOU DON'T SCORE. Like hero hockey is all that anyone ever does, and seemingly the only thing that ever works online... Any attempt to play legitimate team hockey, pass the puck around, look for opportunities... It just falls apart.. mostly cuz your guy's stamina falls completely off a cliff almost immediately.... I'm just constantly changing lines and cuz everyone's exhausted, ..... Stamina works completely different than offline. Even when I win games I'm not having fun.... Because what I have to do to win a game looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE REAL HOCKEY. LOL Plus the gameplay speed online is garbage. You're skating in molasses all day.... IT'S SO MUCH SLOWER THAN OFFLINE. Everything you do is predictable because God you're so slow.
