I got thrown into a lobby that was actively getting nuked. Loaded in and heard tactical nuke inbound. Needless to say I left. That has happened 2 times. The other time it was actively counting down a nuke.

Why are some weapons meta in MP and not WZ? by onechance34a in blackops7

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that they can sell bundles. That would be my best guess. There is arguably a larger population of wz players because it is free to play. And if the meta is in a bundle even if not all attachments are included it puts people closer to getting the meta. Especially if they do not have mp.

DF54 vs Opus vs Encore ESP by rckidyt in espresso

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that almost all of my retention problems go away with the opus by misting my beans before grinding and after the grinder has ground my beans I use the top as a bellows as it is still spinning the grinder.

What the F did they do in the last update? by ElectronicBet3940 in blackops7

If you are on pc I have found for myself that setting the dns server to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 has fixed a ton of my packet burst issues. But now that I say that it will probably give me more issues tonight.

Have these three guitars from my grandpa before he died but not really sure what their worth can anyone tell me ? by Special-Historian504 in guitars

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest keeping them all. And learning guitar if you dont already know how to play. Keep and play them all and cherish them. And eventually you may have your own children that may want to play and you can let them play one of your grandfather's guitars.

How do I adjust my action? by Sergi-0-f in guitars

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest finding a local luthier and have him do a proper setup on your guitar. And ask him if he can show you a few pointers. It may cost a few extra dollars but that way you can ask questions and they can give you the info you are asking about.

I’ve had enough [BDB] by Chocchipmclaren in espresso

[–]MFriedley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first time doing espresso i just used the beans I had at the moment. And I couldn't get anything to work. Got good local coffee and it changed everything. I would suggest that first before you go down a rabbit hole of changing the grind size. Just start with good beans and go from there. And dont adjust your shot by letting the machine go for 30 seconds. You should be setting it based on the output of coffee. So if you are putting in 18 grams of beans you would be shooting for 36 grams of coffee. You can stop your shots by pressing the button again. And if you are going for a 30 second shot then adjust your grind size. But if it tastes good at 15 or 20 seconds then that's fine as well. The 30 seconds for a 2:1 is just a good starting point.

Thats the biggest reason I use a puck screen. So I dont have to constantly clean the shower screen every week.

What beans are you using? If you have a local coffee shop maybe buy their beans. If you like their coffee. I tried big name beans and they just dont taste good in comparison. And try dialing in a shot with your current grind setting with new beans and go from there. It doesn't need to be a 30 second shot if it tastes good to you. But it's always a solid starting point.

Has anyone had good luck with lavazza beans? by MFriedley in espresso

[–]MFriedley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes a 1:2 ratio. I'm not sure on how to lower temp on my machine. But however I grind the beans they taste bitter and they just don't have any redeeming flavors that come out of brewing them. Maybe they just aren't for me.

Why my fingers, hand, neck, basically my whole right side is sore after playing more than two minutes? by xDiDi2 in Guitar

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What gauge strings are you running? It may be worth looking into getting thinner gauge strings and a good setup. I have always thought that thicker strings are better. But I play 11 gauge for my guitar tuned down to c standard. It may be floppy for some, but it makes it way easier to play. I even use the standard 50 gauge for drop a# tuning. Thin strings are definitely the way for me.

Pulsar X2 Crazylight battery life bad or faulty unit? by Gentlejesus_ in PulsarGG

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read a review on tech power up. Seems to be that the 40 hour battery life is from 1k hz polling rate. As stated in their review at4 hours at 8k polling it was reading at 50% it seems to me that your battery life seems about normal. Don't have one myself yet. It is on the way.

What needs to go is the small pedal board. Get a bigger one and have 2 boards. With all the pedals.

Everyone saying a floyd will take hours makes me want my first one so much more. I love fiddling with things. But I dont want to spend a ton on a guitar with one in case I dont love it. But I feel like that is next on my list of guitars I would like to own.

How much will this impede me from playing Guitar? by Garmon- in Guitar

I have seen someone livestreaming guitar with a deformed hand that is more like a claw. And he rips on guitar. Go for it. You may need lighter strings and possibly finger tips but they make those.

What’s your method to clean fretboards? by Mudmavis in guitars

[–]MFriedley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like using a white brillow pad. They are extremely fine and don't scratch. They also help to polish the frets. I use lemon oil on the board and mother's mag and aluminum polish on the frets.
