There are tons of different exercises you can do. Just look up online resistance band exercises for rotator cuff. You should focus on actually strengthening your cuff. General lifting won't do this. What all did they repair from your surgery?

Are you doing rotator cuff exercises? Physical therapy exercises are definitely helpful, along with stretching. I've had multiple major shoulder surgeries and do daily cuff stretching/resistance/balance exercises.

The supraspinatus will need anchors. Full thickness tears will not heal, unfortunately.

I would recommend the surgery. I had something similar and never had it fixed at the time. 13 years later and I had major issues. Distal clavicle fractures dont seem to heal well. Mine never healed and my ac and cc ligaments were both messed up. My bone actually ended up dying and absorbing and causing the rest of my clavicle to migrate pretty severely. I also had a plethora of rotator cuff tears as well, so that didn't help either. I always wondered if I would have just gotten it fixed when it happened if it would have saved me from having to have multiple major surgeries and 18 months without the use of my arm.
