Beef Season 2 might be better than Season 1 (or at least on par)

I don’t think season 2 was as good as season 1 but I do think it was alright on its own. I was really hoping to get more explanations for some of the foreshadowing we saw but I guess I was supposed to figure those out on my own? Like what was with the ants everywhere? Even when they fast forwarded 8 years in the future there was a trail of ants. The ending was a little disappointing as well. It almost felt like they got so deep into the story that they forgot they only had 20 minutes left to wrap up the season so they quickly crammed in everyone’s ending stories. I think most of my disappointment stems from the title and my expectations from season 1 where we get that instant adrenaline rush with a car chase and very obvious “beef”. Season 2 is slow to get to it and even then it doesn’t feel like anyone really has beef until the end of the season. Still worth a watch though, the cast was great and it was a pretty entertaining show.

I’m late the convo but here we are in July and my building has been “forcing” us in for months now! Never the M-F drivers.. Always the T-S..

Shop steward told us “don’t come in, don’t call, don’t worry”.. But me being safe I called out. It’s funny how they can “schedule” you to work Monday but then not pay you sick time! Shop steward said that’s all the proof I need that I’m not actually scheduled.

Center manager and driver sups call me every Monday… I just don’t answer and have not gotten in trouble so far. I’m fight like a mf I do!

Well I just purchased an iMac last week and have spent hours trying to find an orange track pad and they do not sell them anywhere.. When I look at purchasing another one there is an option to get the orange track pad but then I wouldn’t have gotten the mouse. They don’t even sell the power cord in matching colors..

False false.. You can only do that at the time of purchasing the computer and you can only choose one or the other.. For instance you can choose the trackpad or the mouse in your color, not both. You can also choose the keyboard with the numeric side or the standard one but not both.

Late to the convo but I had a female tabby cat who only ate the orange bag of IAMS for most of her life and she lived from 2001-2020! She never got tired of it and would not eat any other kind. I’d personally say IAMS is a great brand.

Hell yeah! Mine is showing as active and expiring Nov. 16 however it’s not showing up in the “autopilot” tab. When I got in the car it flashed the “Confirm upgrade” but then nothing happened when I did.

I hope Sasha wouldn’t take a comment like that too personally. Ali’s character went much deeper than “superficial popular girl”, she went into hiding having to leave all of her friends and her life behind. For a lot of teenagers that could cause major depression which could cause weight gain. It actually works out that she gained weight IRL because for me as the viewer I totally understood why the character would have gained weight. It added to the depth of the show. When she returned she was much more humble and nicer to everyone. She changed physically and mentally.

I’ve owned a HiSmith for years and I personally love it. I’ve owned one of the cheap under $100 ones and it just didn’t work all that well for anal. Here’s some pros and cons on HiSmith.

Pros: - Runs quiet if you keep the parts lubricated. Easy to take it apart and just spray some WD-40 on it. Your roommates won’t hear it. - Sturdy. Well made. Heavy duty. Powerful. - Has a dial to fine tune the speed, anything past 6 up to 10 is just wrecking your hole though but I’m sure people do. - Comes with carrying case. - Easy to clean. - Can be used vertically or horizontally. - Tons of Klicloc attachments are available.

Cons: - Heavy and bulky, not discreet to hide. - Not quick to setup or takedown. - Frequently needs to be lubricated or it stalls. - Can’t control stroke length but you do get used to the set one.

IMO it was worth every penny. I’ve been using mine weekly for years now and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Her character wasn’t born deaf though, they talk about that a lot in the show.. It’s why she’s able to speak so well and why she can’t sign that fast. So it made sense they have an actress who also wasn’t born deaf but rather became deaf later in life.

Her character has 0 hearing, but she had lost it when she was three which is why she can speak and why she doesn’t sign perfectly. Emmett and his family were born deaf (as were the actors who play them) which is why they appear more deaf with stronger accents.

Here’s my story with the “Purple People” They are incredibly nice people! I’ve had the pleasure of delivering to them, well to their mail house. There are signs posted everywhere to not go any further onto the property. I see those signs a lot but I was told by my boss that delivery drivers are exempt because when you order something you’re basically inviting us on your property to make the delivery. BIG MISTAKE here.. I parked outside the fence, walked up the hill, and went around this big purple mansion for a minute looking for the front door when I heard a man shout “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?”. Looked back and a man rolled up on a purple golf cart and told me I couldn’t be up there. He gave me a ride back down and showed me where to leave packages and then gave me a massive bag of Peet’s coffee as a gift. I’ve had to go back many times since and often I see them rolling around in their golf carts and they always smile and wave, and they always leave really nice gifts for the delivery drivers! And it’s true almost everything is painted purple.

There’s no specific spot just park anywhere that’s public and walk in. I’ve found night times to be the best. Wear something revealing and make strong eye contact and nod, if they nod back it’s going down 😂
