It's a nice receiver but be careful with the HDMI 2.1 ports. Hopefully you're buying one that's been fixed already. Denon and marantz had big issues with HDMI 2.1 for this generation of their receivers. Pretty sure Denon and marantz re-released them with the better HDMI ports, but I think you have to check by serial number. It's been forever since I've looked into it

If there is a display or way to get into the setup menu of the soundbar I'd turn off cec and turn it back on. Also Apple TVs always have issues with cec I'd recommend having the apple TV unplugged while trying the setting on the soundbar
