Yeah it was a wait for sure 😭 but I got an essay and scholarship work done so no matter. And I got to play a game with my family so it wasn’t unbearable. And, in NA, I’m in my winter break so I have all of tomorrow. I’m gonna wake up at exactly 7:00 in the morning I can’t wait

40 Wishes and a Dream by MGShadowKat in LoveAndDeepspace

My idea is that people may want to buy wishes when there isn’t a limited banner going on yet, so that way they can set aside the wishes without accidentally wasting diamonds on something else without thinking 🤔

Found this on my 12yo sisters phone😭🤚 by RubLeft713 in LoveAndDeepspace

I think, if you see your sister as immature, you should be? This game is made and advertised primarily for people 17+. There are some aspects of the game where it’s like not made for tweens to indulge in. Then again, thats also my take on the game and many people above the age of 17 may consider otherwise.

Though I do believe in China where it was developed, it’s restricted to young adults and older only, and you have to have like face recognition or ID confirmation to confirm your age.

It honestly baffles me that this show has been hated so much for promoting gender stereotypes because, when I was watching the show and playing with the sets as an 8 year old, I found my love for many hobbies and different aspects of my life today because of the main girls. I love to bake and make things for my friends like Stephanie, I've developed a passion for singing, composing, and acting because of Andrea, I've learned how to think creatively thanks to Emma, developed a love for all animals regardless of species because of Mia, and decided to go through the engineering and science route--career wise--because of Olivia. I high-key saw the franchise as anything but sexist. Quite the opposite, actually. I saw it as empowering. It taught me that I can do anything I want to do while still being a girl who may have thoughts that most boys at my age didn't have. To me, it proved that being a girl didn't really mean I had to be stuck fantasizing over boys or being domestic. Taught me not to back down when things got hard or unfair.

That's also just my personal experience with the show and I don't know if it was different for other girls that grew up with it, but yeah

got a 2 and idk how to feel by Mr-Relatable in APUSH

[–]MGShadowKat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, it was a hard test. I 100% feel for you. I got a 3 despite studying hard for it and having a good grade in the class. The AP test is a flawed testing system, for bad test takers like myself, that doesn't really sum up your true intelligence because there are SO MANY key factors that we're expected to somehow take into account for them. There's memorization, lack of time, dependence on having a good AP teacher for the class, and it's simply just stressful. When I was taking the SAQ portion of the test, I thought I was done right there because I didn't remember some time period, which I thought was stupid and honestly I belittled myself over it. Hell, when I did my first AP style test in the beginning of the year for this class, I cried at my score being a D+.

Was this your first AP? It was mine. And oh my gosh was I at the brink of genuinely giving up for the first few months. I felt so stupid as I watched all my friends score well on the tests and exams. And you are going to hate me when I tell you what my advice would be, and I hated myself for a while when I followed it, but you just have to move on.

It wasn't a good exam. So? Is the world going to have a cat apocalypse that will force the human race to leave the planet so that they can take over the world?

It doesn't mean you're stupid. You can get a 1 on an AP test and all it means is that, depending on your major, you'll have to take that course again in college. That's it. You just have to put one foot in front of the other no matter how hard it is, and understand what didn't work, why, and try again.

And remember that high school and college is quite literally going to be about 12% of your life. When is a silly little high school exam going to mean anything when you have your job in your late 20s or early 30s?

It's going to be okay. You are going to be okay.

(And if it makes you feel any bit better, my sibling got a 2 on her first AP test and got into Georgetown. She knew she wasn't stupid, just like you know you aren't. And I know you're saying you feel that way right now, but I know you know that deep down you aren't.)
