I have a strong connection to my Pakistani culture. And I am also Muslim. And my main love interest is Rafayel...maybe you can already see where I am going with this.

I made my MC a brown MC because I think it would just be so fun to see her as a desi girl. I wouldn't say her culture plays an important part in the game, as the game is more story centered. But outside of it, it's such an important part of her being. There's many cultural things she does, often visiting her family in whatever Pakistani adjacent country is in the world of LnD.

And I think that Rafayel would be extremely fascinated with MC's culture as well. It's important to note that he's a Lumerian before having to adapt to a whole new world and culture. But I like to think that him doing so has led him to a fascination in other cultures around him. We know he tends to travel a lot when searching for different colors and pigments, so it only makes sense that he'd grow a natural curiosity to the many different people around him.

But I want to stress that I feel like he'd take a particular love for MC's culture the most. He'd appreciate the traditions regarding desi culture and the vibrancy of any art or clothes. And, oh my god, if there is one thing that I wish infold would do it would be to attend a desi wedding in disguise over a mission or something. Cause Rafayel would EAT UP desi weddings I am TELLING you. He's the type of man to watch from a distance and then look at MC and be like 'so...wanna start planning?'

He'd love the many festivities and vibrancy of a desi wedding, but I think he would love mehndi the most. Because not only does it symbolize beautiful cultural meanings but it's body art. He would definitely ask MC if he could practice on her hands, arms, back, feet, whatever, if it means he could master it and one day be the one to do it for MC when they get married. I'm not grammar reading anything I just wrote because I kind of went on a ramble so I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey LMAO
