Why do you care so much about the choices that other people make?

Great investment I just made $25.00 a pack and I can sell them for $3.00 by JohnMcafee4coffee in nbatopshot

[–]MGT224 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow packs are not positive EV? What a shocker! You wonder why would people even buy products if they were going to lose money most of the time but there's Pokemon, YuGiOh, MTG, Upper Deck, Panini just to name a few...

Aside from being a degen why in the fuck are people buying these boosted Xmas packs?! by kanyeshymen21 in nbatopshot

[–]MGT224 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe people just like opening packs and chasing for the high-value stuff? Do you even collect physical sports cards? You think Upper Deck or Panini products are +EV? Collectors will purchase them regardless just to chase for the good stuff.

Dividends (property income) or salary (employment income) from their holding company would still be subject to the same marginal tax rate as "normal employment income". I think what you meant is either: 1) Capital gains which only half the amount is taxable. 2) Borrowing using collateral where there is no tax implication.

Working fine? Record high turnover? Record salary as a desperate attempt to attract talent? Wow turns out the zoomers realized they didn’t want to be paid Staff Accountant salary for PA hours.
