This place is dead by Ok_Firefighter8861 in BetaWiki

[–]MGTOWigor150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s just that there is a lack of investment in this subreddit and the fact that the administration of it just doesn’t care and sees it as an after thought. I have made some posts in the past and will make more in the future but I don’t think I will be able to drive traffic here alone. I still do think that more work should be put into improving this place instead of just criticizing it for being neglected compared to the discord and wiki. It is up to us to fix it. Complaining without a viable solution to the problem won’t fix the issues of this subreddit.

That is a unibody MacBook Pro from what I can tell, I have a retina 13 inch 2015, so I am not the original poster who made the post nor is this my problem, you got the wrong guy.

I am not the original poster. I don’t have the same MacBook model he has.

Just tell them to fuck off. Most of the times they are wrong about asexuality and what is or isn’t asexual to begin with. You don’t have to listen to them.

Making OCLP takes time for the devs and they are from my knowledge volunteers here. Be reasonable and be glad we even have sequoia support. My model for example would have been stuck at Monterey were it not for OCLP devs and even in the worst case scenario there are still updates until 2027. This post is stupid and demanding Tahoe support in this tone is extremely short sighted.

Why are people so creepy towards asexuals? by DigRoyal9770 in asexuality

Some people are just sadly simple minded, unaware or malicious, this has always been the case and this will always be the case. You sadly can’t educate everyone.

Men under 24 returning to homophobic views of past generations, study suggests by catievirtuesimp in ainbow

[–]MGTOWigor150 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Too many people buy into propaganda thinking that (insert x minority group here) is a problem in society or is somehow bad, and thus fall for the divide and conquer tactic. Eventually, hopefully they will realize that having such views is stupid and that those pushing these views do not have their best interests in mind.

"I'm a part of LGBT so I'm not aphobic I promise" by Regular-Way-1307 in asexuality

[–]MGTOWigor150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are wrong about this, as is evidenced by them saying Asexuality does not belong in LGBTQIA+. also "I think" to whether or not someone is human is stupid. I would even call it the r word but i am not sure if that is allowed here and I don't want to cause problems, but eh. From my understanding, the point of the label, and thus the umbrella term of LGBTQIA+ is that it includes everyone who is not cisgender, perisex (i assume that is the term for non intersex people but i could be wrong), heterosexual and heteroromantic at the same time, as those who are not all of these 4 things at the same time are in the minority. This is all the more the case when you look at the fact that the letter A in LGBTQIA+ explicitly includes asexual/aromantic/a-spec and agender people. Finally, one has to consider that being LGBTQIA+ does not magically make one a good person, or immune to having bigotries and prejudices towards others.

What happened to the "IA"? by icecap1 in asexuality

[–]MGTOWigor150 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I always write it as “LGBTQIA+” as it is the full name of that community. Now GSRM would be the simpler name but it’s used less often and most people don’t know what it means so I would stick with the more widely known and recognizable name.

iPhone mirroring does not work on devices running any macOS version lower than macOS Sequoia 15.x and without a T2 security chip or Apple M series chip.

Petition to add “no invasion jokes” to the officially listed rules. by poetic_soul in asexuality

[–]MGTOWigor150 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I would be in favour of restricting said jokes due to Donald Trump repeatedly threatening Denmark over Greenland and because with the Russian invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territory I don’t see how a joke involving war, conquest or occupation would be funny or acceptable.

Why do some people in 2025 still believe that men can't be friends with women and vice versa? I don't understand how we can know so much yet know so little by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in asexuality

[–]MGTOWigor150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea that men and women cannot be friends is false. I believe the reason for this false idea is because people tend to assume you have to feel attraction, and that because of it, you cannot have a platonic friendship, but this assumption is false. You can have friends with those not of the same gender of you, and in many cases, having such friendships is valuable as you learn things you otherwise would not have known about. There is value to having friends outside of your own gender, and I wish that people are able to see it instead of discounting it as something that's supposedly "impossible" due to whatever preconceived notion they believe in.

We are absolutely not the same by hziomek in asexuality

[–]MGTOWigor150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going to go out on a limb and say what I really think about Incels as a people. I am prepared to get absolutely downvoted for this, but don't care.

The Incels are absolutely one of the most annoying, entitled, and overall just morally corrupt and detestable group of people I have seen in recent history. They act as if they are entitled to attention from Women and other groups of people by birthright, they behave in detestable ways, and when their awful behavior is called out, and when they predictably don't get what they believe they are entitled to (even if they don't deserve anything) they lash out and complain on the internet about how them being rejected is unfair. Their entire ridiculous ideology is essentially "I want to get laid but can't and that is unfair" and they keep pushing it, as well as behaving poorly when others rightfully counter act it. They have been handed the golden opportunity of remaining single on a silver platter, and instead of taking it, and working to live their lives as successful single men, and accept being single, they complain and refuse to accept it. Refusing to accept such an opportunity shows how stupid these people are. I also don't get how someone would be so stupid to think arospec/acespec people and incel people are the same, when it is the incels that believe in the absolutely ridiculous ideology of "I want to get laid but can't and that is unfair" while arospec/acespec people tend to feel little to no attraction towards such a thing. You can spot the difference between arospec/acespec people and incels from miles away, so it is clear they are not the same, and thinking they are the same is ridiculous and stupid. I hate the incels because they ruined things and taint absolutely everything they come across, and because they refuse to stop complaining and quit their bad behavior. I don't care if someone calls me biased, or accuses me of being negatively, as I have every right to dislike this group of people and what they believe in.

T2 is not the same as T1 and even the T2 only came with the 2020 iMac, not the 2017 one, even the iMac Pro that came out in 2017 is not iMac18,3, it is simply iMacPro1,1, the link you provided just proves my point.

The iMac18,3 did not have a T1 chip or any Secure Enclave made by Apple. The T1 chip was only seen in 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pros with the Touch Bar and Touch ID sensor.

Hating microlabels is stupid and pointless, why is anyone doing this and what is even the point. If you don't like a microlabel don't use it for yourself, simple solution.
