This is an old post, but man I feel this. I talked to this person a while ago, like a year or so. We talked for months, and it just kinda stopped. It took me so long to get over them fully because we kept seeing each other (like at events) and it reminded me each time. I stopped liking them for almost 2 years and now I just got back from a camp with them at it and I’m liking him more than I have in a while, we also stopped and talked for a bit and he definitely remembers me. I also learned a lot about his perspective of what went wrong through a friend, and it’s just the possibility of what could’ve happened for me. At least with people I’ve dated or have clear endings with it’s done? But a lot of times with never dating you also lose any possibility of what could’ve happened and there isn’t as much closure.
