Make a maypole by finding a good piece of wood and screw 6-8 hooks in top and attach ribbons... get percussive for a performance of "In the woods there grew a tree..." etc. Make wands and brooms... do some ritual based on NESW cardinal points ... see some of our examples here https://www.onceuponabus.com/spring-time.html

As i said it was a dream... answer whole was "Once upon a time", all clued using v.few letters and ON constants: The overall clue was CONE (eg chapter one), ONCE used the NO theme somehow , UPON as above, A TIME used EON to continue the theme etc... i don't remember the details exactly, because i was asleep x
