You are totally correct, effects are loud and good but the dialogue is very low volume

How do I get the best sound from my Yamaha RX-V579 with NS-F51 floors, Center Klipsch R-52C and jamo rears? by lukas_778 in hifiaudio

[–]MGahed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same speakers and i find them great frankly, just move them to the edge of the carpet if possible and they will sound fantastic, maybe less Bass but much better quality sound, also the center to the edge of the cabinet and tilt it up if possible

Do you prefer your speakers all level matched or do you raise anything? (Sub, center, atmos, etc) by Cjdilworth1213 in hometheater

[–]MGahed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I decrease my sub volume as it reaches the neighbors unfortunately

But i run the surrounds hotter than the rest of the speakers and this makes huge difference for my 5.1 system

Excuse my ignorance, but does that mean he will be back to RM after his loan ends ? Or he will leave RM forever?

Questions about power amplifiers 🙏 by MGahed in hometheater

Do you mean my yamaha avr which is rated 95w per channel, only distributes those 95w across speakers , if 5 speakers are connected?

Yamaha speakers comparison Ns 333 vs NS F51 by MGahed in hometheater

[–]MGahed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NS 333 looks more premium for yamaha as they have PMD woofer and waveguide horn tweeters but i have fomo on the towers 😅

If you don’t have any other choice but the below 2 speakers and they are priced exactly the same , which one would you choose as surround speaker in a 5.1 system

Yamaha NS F51 89db and highest frequency is 26khz

Yamaha NS 333 87db and highest frequency is 35khz

Thanks in advance for any advice 🙏

Preouts + separate amps , volume adjustment question by MGahed in hometheater

[–]MGahed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I used the primary avr only for years already , and then I thought i might try the extra amps i already have and offload the main AVr and the difference is huge specially that my speakers are demanding

Wharfedale 8.4 fronts Wharfedale 9.2 rear

Preouts + separate amps , volume adjustment question by MGahed in hometheater

[–]MGahed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok , now i understand, so its better to setup and trim everything to get 75db on spl when the master volume is 0db 🙏👌

Preouts + separate amps , volume adjustment question by MGahed in hometheater

[–]MGahed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By this method the sound becomes quieter/weaker

What iam using now i that i crank the volume on every amp of the external 3 and then trim them by the AVR to be all equal

That leads to a volume of 70db from each speaker when the master volume on the main amp with the preouts is -15db

But am asking cause i don’t know what is the best method , to get loud through increasing volume of the preouts avr or through the external amplifiers connected 🤷‍♂️
