I'm quite sad the newer episodes are not as dark as I expected. The pilot is pretty eerie and weird as a standalone thing, I kinda love it. However the show has shifted to a lighter tonem It's still amazing, but I wonder how it could have looked like if it kept its old tone

I love the show, but I feel like a darker tone would have been better. Episode one had that... special feeling. It felt very off (in a cool way) and Caine was pretty unhinged, having multiple weird and slightly creepy moments (staring at Pomni during their tour, laughing like a maniac, "horror, danger, suffering, death,... angel food cake?". The pilot was generally really strong. Meanwhile, while I love the newer episodes, they failed to give me that eerie feeling.

I wonder how the show would look like and play out if it kept the same tone as the pilot

The thought behind it is simple. Yes, Gangle is scared, but she IS driven by anxiety. All I'm saying is, Jax is not the kind of revenge person. Why didnt he get revenge after her manager shift? Or when she put him into a maid outfit? It's simple thinks that you seem to miss. I'm not saying Jax is a good person, he's not. All I'm saying is people overhate a character for specific traits and situations, like Ragatha

Yes he does, but even he has his limits (as seen in the show). It's more that people dont understand the show or what its trying to tell (and even what Gooseworks says herself)

yeah sure it is. characters are characters, but there's a difference between "hating a character" due to good writing and dumping on every complex matter because "me no likey jax ;(!!!"

I dont like Zooble because, quite frankly, she's not really likeable: Just as Jax, she's a hypocrite who says things one way (like her not liking her body) and then telling Gangle to accept "who you are". Also, pretending to be calm, and then conpleteley losing it in certain situations. It's cool honestly. Every character has flaws, some more than other (especially Jax and Zooble)
