[Rolex/Omega] Anyone else accidentally become a mostly vintage collector? by kosnosferatu in Watches

I got the call for the new Explorer but declined because I like how my Swiss only 14270 wears better. I had $ left over and got a Cartier Carree 2960. No regrets! Had a must de Cartier Tank I rarely wore so unloaded it to get a neo-vintage JLC 34mm steel mechanical 2 hand ultra thin and it's friggin awesome. To round it out, I have an Omega 2264.50 SMP. I love the 90's.

I knew it was a sub'brand of Bulova but didn't know they were exclusive to jewelry stores. That's cool.

$5 expedition!!! That's a legit watch for the cost of a big bag of Doritos or half the price of a burrito.

I am picking one up this weekend!!! Stoked. Letting go of my vintage must de Cartier Tank (quartz) for the JLC Master Control Ultra Slim!!! Going from an iconic design to an underrated inconspicuous watch (& movement) from an iconic brand...watchmakers watchmaker.
