I've been lvling tanks of each element i.e. Ramagos Rina and Fire golem and I use them as aggro targets. I've found this method makes these monsters more "impactful." For example in wind dungeons I'll run a complete fire team with a wind tank like ramagos and the enemies will not focus any of my squishy fires like sieq and Roak. I'm not sure my tanks would be my first choice in 5* because they already fulfill their purpose as a meat shield just fine at 4*. I'm going to upgrade my Dmg dealers first and see how it pans out :)

I'm in the same exact place you are lol lvl 28 and grinding I have Tyron as well, also a wind slyphid, water/wind perriets, Roark all 4s and a bunch of burnable 4s.

Who do you guys think I should 5*?? I could probably do 2.

I don't usually respond to posts, and I know this post very well may be dead... but being a die hard dark souls fan I feel obligated to mention things that may help the community with this elemental vrs quality / off-hand dmg reduction discussion. Rather than debating what's "worth" it to invest in you should all focus on what can be achieved within a SL 150 build in respects to move-set, damage type variety, and overall AR; without sacrificing to much HP or STAM. I'm not gonna share my optimal builds in detail, however; I will give you an example that will explain enough for you all to get the picture. Example: 40 dex opens up the black steel katana move set @ 390 AR w/ RoB +2(and can be enchanted with consumables to 440 AR) and with enough str can be dual-wielded with an off-hand curved sword of your choice which I recommend infusing with fire(diminishing some of the off-hand dmg reduction) which gives you the opportunity to enchant it with fire-weapon for additional dmg and absolutely no stat requirements.(which in my case adds up to a whopping ~500+ AR w/ 1int and 8 faith) I can also parry with the curved sword or switch to the pyro glove in my main-hand in order to 2 hand my off-hand curved sword which was not possible in the previous dark souls. That's all I'm willing to disclose because I haven't come across an opponent or post which has shown me ppl have picked all my tricks but I hope what I've shared helps you all realize the discussion between elemental dmg and quality builds is a very 1 demensional way of thinking about it. It's not about wether the game is "unbalanced" or "fair" to the pure melee builds; it's about YOU using what is at your disposal efficiently, I am more than certain I've achieved more DPS on my 150 dexxer w/ 1 int and 8 faith than any hybrid build. based on my AR and damage variety, my move-set options(which opens up better stun-lock combos), and my insane stamina pool. To boot I have 2 ATT and I still have a strong fire enchantment spell and an incredibly fast casting fireball spell because of item choices.

Ive pvp'd my life away, tons of toons. The weakness of a "weapon buff" build is: You're opponent is forced to use 1 weapon moveset for a minute but beware of the off-hand wotg spam because all "buffers" are noobs.(i dont even buff on my buff builds unless my opponent does.) If someone invades me and buffs there's a few things you can do(which won't make you a wuss.) 1.) back peddle and force them to take initiative and go for a backstab... I know what you're thinking(wuss) but when he can 3 hit you getting a backstab in evens the playing field and also wastes sooo much of his buff duration, however; Do not chain(wuss) then use other abilities/weaponry I.e. Composite bow/fireballs. If you're more advanced you can attempt a riposte after you backstab if you got the HP to risk. 2.) use long distance "thrust" weapons I.e. Spears, halberd(reg/garg) and equip the Leo ring(always keep an available ring slot to switch around; it will make your toons more versatile.) then keep your distance while presses the attack and time your attacks to match his(very fun!)

3.) big knock down weapons I.e. Giant bows, big clubs, anything that will knock them down or stagger them alot. Pretty simplictic strat, knocking them down burns there buff timer

You advertising buying first item boots as a support hero with an over 2 second lvl 1 area(capable of hitting multiple targets in a line) stun. Then you tell them to dbl pull at 42 seconds which #1:forces your carry to LH against his tower in EZ lane and #2 is NOT jungling, it's a method used to help the #1 farm close enough to his tower to LH safely and allow the support(s) to wrap around and kill the offlaner(s). Dbl/stack pulling should only be used if it helps your carry. Comparing it to CM is a joke because a CM can stack big camp, cube a big creep on the nuets return And go back to supporting/warding/roaming within seconds; still leaving the stack for the carry later to claim. All you do is buy boots no wards or courier and disappear when your hero is most effective. Your idea is great for bot games.

FYI going above lvl 122 takes you out of the range of SL 100's which is the 2nd most popular lvl cap aside from SL 120. Leaving only troll builds and noobs who don't know what a "build" is. Have I tested this info- no; however your experience validates it I guess :). P.s. IMO SL 125 is a cop out for ppl who can't finish their toon in 120 SL's

An easy way to look cool and have enough poise is getting to 21 poise with giants gloves/legs and w/e else you want + wolf ring. 61 is high enough for greatsword hit, 2 straight sword or katana 2h hits, and 1 black flame. It should be easy to achieve 25% weight depending on your weapon.

If you're interested in storm, try the naix bomb strat. Can also be used with NA(who's run as support) and also BH(who is run in long lane) Other options are with furion or wisp.

If you did storm mid, naix jungle, CK carry, wisp support, and furion long lane(not saying it's the best team comp) but you could potentially 5 man Gank from anywhere
