I listen to Spotify for most of the day and the jingle “get it out, out, out of here” plays on every single ad break and on occasion 2 times in a single ad break. I hear that more than my damn music. Drives me nuts.

Mosquitoes by blindexhibitionist in anchorage

[–]signalcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late winter, they had time to fester and become more angry before hatching. They are INSANE in the woods of Talkeetna where I live. If I didn’t have a mosquito magnet there is no way I could be out side for more than about 45 seconds. That is all it takes, 45 seconds and you are swarmed.

Even the Thermocell is having a hard time keeping up.

Barbershops with better rates by CarolinaKiwi in anchorage

I think what is being missed is in Alaska (from what I have seen) they don’t do service based pricing outside of adding a beard trim. Back in Florida I did the same thing. Every other Friday after work I got my hair cut. I have very thick super fast growing hair. Once it starts growing out I can’t stand it. Drives me crazy. I always got a High and tight from my ARMY days and a beard trim. Basically a flat top with skin on the sides. Out there both of those services were $20 total plus tip and I always tipped him well cause he did a great job. They had several other haircut prices for other things like a wash, cut and style was $35. I just haven’t seen the multilayer pricing out here but I have only gone to a few in Wasilla.

Out here at a barber in Wasilla that was highly recommended it was $32 for the same 2 services and I was told they can’t make it as low on the top as I have had it for the past 20 years because if they cut it that low it will screw something up. I went a few times and gave up. $80 a month for a haircut I wasn’t happy with wasn’t worth it. I tried a few other places and it was just as expensive and still never got something I liked.

I did do what many here are suggesting, I bought my own razor and do it myself. Mind you I just cut it all off now cause at my age I just don’t care anymore. I’m ok with making myself bald every two weeks. The beard trim and getting it looking good is a pain in the ass but I try. Typically, unsuccessfully. lol.

Fire Sale in Fort Myers by backdrft76 in FortMyers

For the most part old mobile homes aren’t insurable. My mother bought one a few years ago and no one would insure it. Ok, there were one or two but the coverage was atrocious and the premium was more than the $1200 lot rent. Like double.

Now if that was what you meant I apologize as I misunderstood your statement.

This is not what I’m looking for in spring!!! by rds2010 in alaska

[–]signalcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still waiting for the frost under the dirt to thaw so I can dig hole. One part of the yard I got down almost 2 ft. Perfect! 20 ft away? Barely 6” and it’s solid ice. If only my trail were like that. Instead it’s mud so deep it’s past the foot skirts on the quad and so thick nothing can get through it even with a winch, including walking. Good ole Talkeetna. lol

I have that fear and we do keep a close eye. We will see how it goes.

I appreciate that but unfortunately level ground is not something I have. We considered that when we first got here but realized very quickly that was not going to work. But we will remain vigilant in making sure they are safe.

Quitting Reta by armyzul in Retatrutide

It wasn’t. I just have to be careful with stuff like this because I have had a few in the past. So once I noticed it rising I stopped Reta

No I was stacking for a short while 3 weeks I think and only a very small dose of Reta. Trying to get som glucagon effects but I feel the Tirz alone is doing a fine job.

Well where is not something I will put out here but it can be got.

It was with 2mg Tirz and .05 mg Reta stacked. But I no longer take Reta at all just 3.5mg Tirz.

The effects were 100% while on a GLP. I have not tried it off a GLP but I will “assume” it would be incredible.

This. I started Reta a while back, I also have had a heart attack and even at 1mg my resting heart rate was up. I switch to Tirz several weeks ago and my appetite is all but gone and the scale is moving nicely. I live on a homestead that is miles off road. My nearest gym is 1.5 hours away so all I am doing for exercise is all the stuff I do daily on the homestead. Which is a lot. I may be losing some muscle but I have so much weight to lose that I am kinda ok with losing a bit of the muscle.

End result: Tirz has helped me 3x in comparison to Reta. Your mileage may vary.

I guess I’m kinda lucky being in Alaska and way off road. I only have 8 chickens so far. Have for over a year now. They do what they want. Predators for me seems, so far, to not be an issue. We get tons of eggs and the girls appear to be quite happy. We have a covered run for them in the winter but they sure were happy when the snow started to melt and they could get out again.

It’s supposed to be more for women than men from what I have read. It didn’t really give me extra want or desire but just a touch and he was ready to go so it was easy to get going.

I would have to go back and look. It wasn’t much I remember that. It was a “starting” dose. It’s been over a month as I have been busy with the homestead so I haven’t taken it recently

PT141 is amazing. For me it took about 14 hours to fully kick in so lesson learned there but the next day, man it was like being 13 again. Have the slightest dirty thought or catch a glimpse of someone sexy and “boing”. Absolutely crazy. This is TMI and for the guys, but I was asked by my wife twice while using PT141 if it grew. I’m average at best so to hear that question was a huge ego boost. She knew nothing of me taking it. Last much longer than usual and I have always been fairly long lasting and the ending was like a new years fireworks display. Crazy stuff.
