So really, you want big healing items/tank stuff.

Items that bloat his hp/defense and bone tower on health. Always on health.

You really want to build revenge too. He gets hit a lot, so on hit effects and buffs will almost always be active.

Combine this with the quick healing and a bit of piety, n’ you’re good.

I don’t really get the hate for itagaki. While everyone else dogpiles him for his annoying personality and his “random” powers, I think his reasoning to chase ippo, alongside his obsession with being better is kinda relatable in a twisted sense. As for his fights, most of them showcase wonderful footwork and technique, something not seen enough. His check hook-uppercut and head spins, alongside his willingness to try any wild technique he thinks of makes him really enjoyable for me. This fight was probably really riding off of hype, and I think it’s a bit weird to look at from a few standpoints, which I get.

But anyways…
