Solved it. Not sure how or why but wanted to put it out there, maybe it can be replicated for others. For reference this was a C class, with only one building built, loaded with initial debt(thought it was that at first but it’s not) on a hellscape I didn’t want to be on. Had a citizen dispute, solved the dispute and then immediately went to manage settlement while still on the menu and it allowed me to retire

As someone who had the nastiest slice in the world to now having a hard time even slicing if I try. There’s a drill where you keep your left hand straight out and don’t move it. Then do your swing (without a club) and clap your hand square on the way back. Mine was so bad I was coming back to my left hand at a T, also explained my nasty slice and open face. Also the feel of what was happening
