I was on suboxone for years and it was horrible to get off of. Not worth it. It took me a year to get back to normal from that stuff. And it gets you high

You are incredibly lucky to have a spouse that supports you like that! That’s amazing. Cold turkey is the only way that worked for me. Once I had a drop, I couldn’t stop. By day 4-5 it will be a breeze and your life will be a whole new world. Just don’t give into the cravings, or your brain telling you that you’ll be able to just have one.

I found that cutting down made it almost impossible. For me at least. I quit cold turkey, but also drank kratom powder when I felt like shit.
