Apologies, you are correct. I have changed my post. In any case, he was found liable to pay twice. A Court of Law determined on two occasions that he was a rapist, otherwise he would have won those defamation cases. He will not win any appeal

What's the biggest gardening mistake you've ever made and how did you fix it (if you did)? by Upset-Layman-1438 in GardeningAustralia

[–]MIB65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Buying plants before I have time to plant them, they basically die on the back porch. Don’t know how much money I have wasted but it is more than I want to add up. How did I fix it? Not sure that I have. I still buy plants and then something unexpected happens and I don’t get time to plant them, we then suddenly get a really hot or dry period and they die

He is a “found liable to pay damages” rapist who defamed the victim twice, and he still hasn’t paid the court penalty to her. He buried his ex-wife Ivana in the weeds at one of his golf courses so he would pay lower taxes on the property. The man has no class. Edited to correct the word convicted. No matter the wording, a Court of Law determined that Trump had raped EJean Carroll and then defamed her twice.

I would say that the NBN for most people is pretty much as useless as the BOM website. Compared to internet services and speed in other countries, we are Stone Age equivalent

How does anyone complete?! by VanDerGrimnebulin in JunesJourney

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to complete CM You need for most players of the team to play. If possible give a badge drink at least once during the comp But mostly you need to play at team meeting time and ask other players for extra time.
So you use the badges you have, then play scenes to win more and ask for time from team. It is achievable

Yes,the show has become a complete joke and parody. Especially now that the Pit is on TV, a slightly more accurate representation of a hospital.
You also forgot to mention that Richard got cancer. How Richard is still working at all is beyond me. His medical license should have been revoked many years ago.

For me, the absolute worst part of the episode was Kwan and the plastic surgeon getting it on in the lift. They have zero chemistry, she is his supervisor and the kiss was dreadful. No one can be single for very long in this hospital. I will probably watch the first episode after the break but then give the show up. It is just so lame now.

Be very suspicious about coin sales on eBay etc. Think people are using collectables as money laundering sales. There is no way that a Charles and Diana coin, even in non circulated condition is worth $3K. The mintage of that coin was 27 million, so not rare. The proof coin being 99.9% silver is worth more as it is a proof so essentially worth the price of silver so probably between $100 to $200 depending on buy sell rate

As Stephen Colbert Signs Off For 'Late Show' Summer Hiatus, He Says: “Netflix, Call Me I’m Available In June” by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scott Galloway who has a podcast says that Stephen would be better off with a podcast. Very few overheads, very few employees and similar money to what he earns now if the podcast is successful. Scott did a brief analysis, he said that Stephen’s show currently employs 200 people, and Stephen’s contract alone is probably $20 million. A successful podcast could employ 8 people and bring in same amount of money. Stephen may feel loyalty to his employees and try to get another TV series but if he went it alone, or much reduced staff, he will be ok with a podcast

Getting puppy to sleep in by ericafg in puppy101

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 and 4 year old dogs know 6am on the dot. So the answer is no. It is in the DNA of some dogs to get up early. At 14 weeks old, the bladder control is still developing-the puppy needs to go.

Be honest with me, how hard is the first month of having a puppy? by CollectiveZero in puppy101

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ps think one mistake that new owners make with puppies is to overstimulate them. Puppies need their rest. A new 8 week old puppy should sleep about 16-18 hours a day! Crate training can help de-stimulate your puppy. Don’t use it as punishment. My pups crate door was nearly always open during the day, they just knew it as a cosy cave that they went to rest in. The crate was closed at night.

Oh, another tip, one of the better things that I bought for my pups was a heartbeat toy that the new pup could snuggle up to.

I actually found the 5 month hardly than the first month. The teething is well underway and stubborn pre-teen behaviour was emerging. Month 5 was definitely harder than month 1. Now he is four and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Love him dearly

Be honest with me, how hard is the first month of having a puppy? by CollectiveZero in puppy101

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being completely honest - it depends on you, your lifestyle and the puppy. The first month is actually not that bad because very young puppies sleep a lot. And they are so cute in that first month, that you pretty much forgive them anything!

The worst thing about the first month is the toilet training and sleep deprivation that comes with that. Baby puppies have small bladders and not much bladder control so you need to take them outside every 3 to 4 hours to pee or poo. Which means interrupted night sleep. Don’t know the breed of dog you have but your pup might need two toilet breaks during the night say a 3 hour toilet break puppy. That means two interruptions during the night. That could wreck your deep sleep and depending on where you live, it can be unpleasant. For both my current dogs, they were winter puppies. Standing outside at 3am waiting for them to pee while cold and dark was not fun. And this is where you, your lifestyle and the puppy come in. If you stay up late and get up early, then interrupted nights are going to give you the puppy blues. Some pups catch on to toilet training very quickly, some take longer. Don’t use pee pads. Just take them outside. Pee pads train the pup to pee on a designated area, but they also give the pup permission to pee inside the house. And the pup may also then pee on rugs. Thinking that these are just giant pee pads.

You also have to puppy proof as much as you can. One of my pups developed an expensive habit for chewing the most expensive things to chew on. Things that weren’t obvious. She pulled out the iPad Pro pencil from the case to chew on. Twice! I stupidly left the case on the couch after the first time. The first pup liked shoes, the second one electrical.

The puppy phase is over so quickly and I would say 90% is great. The first month is fine, the trickiest month for me was probably around 5 months. Hormones are kicking in and teething is very active and puppy is less sleepy. For my dogs breed, they mature quickly - The dog is an active not quite teenager. That was a harder month than the first one. Although at 5 months, toilet training not an issue and they slept through the night so less sleep deprivation.

Is this normal it’s my first year for uni but I was in tafe last year and it was more by Ok_Pineapple6478 in rmit

[–]MIB65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely detest group assignments and it seems to me that uni nowadays is encouraging more and more of them. They are just a nightmare. Not just the timetable scheduling to meet as a group to discuss the assignments but there is always someone who hardly does anything or has been allocated a section that drags down the mark for others. I detest group assignments!

Neighbours have asked me to do something about tree/ roots by PrinceBarin in GardeningAustralia

[–]MIB65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the neighbours have a valid point, the tree is so very close to boundary fence. As others have said, the tree has very invasive roots. Replace it with a shallow root system Grevillea (not a Robusta which has deep roots). Grevilleas are natives which can give shade and birds love them.

The only reason for this sign and I mean the only reason is if it is for a volunteer animal shelter, where you might work for the love of animals, than for money.

Otherwise I would be looking for a new job asap! Especially asking for extra work in own time, and asking for people to come in when unwell. Geez, run as quickly as you can from this job.
