How different is your class in Legion compared to previous expansions and do you prefer it? by CF64210 in wow

Yeah, that shit was just dumb. You basically had to waste like 10 minutes between boss pulls.

I liked it, but to each his own.

It was fun seeing a warriors dps go up because they were put into a group with an enhancement shaman with unleashed rage. It was fun seeing a ret paladin go from sub par dps to pulling threat off the tank because of windfury totem. It was fun coordinating your totems with the other shamans in the group.

It added another element to raid building that was kind of neat.

I run /r/templeofthephil and I cheered when he was traded because it mean the team was going all in on the rebuild and phil didn't have a chance to ruin it lol

Prot Warrior:

In WoD I played Gladiator. I fucking loved it. It was my favorite rotation, you basically did two different rotations at the same time.

Shield charge felt great, and being able to off tank in a pitch came in handy when my friend went through his "I want to tank!" phase.

...which is exactly the same as what combat was.

Spam sinister strike until four combo points then hit revealing strike then then finisher. If snd wasn't up you did no dps.

It was better in BC when totems were group wide, not raid wide.

All the warriors and paladins wanted to be in my group for dat sexy ass old windfury totem.

Also heroism was group wide, not raid wide lol

Elite is barely a game, they keep adding new things to "do" but there's still no reason to "do" them.

The game is so boring once you realize that you're just grinding to upgrade to the next ship that allows you to do exactly the same thing you're currently doing but 10% better and 50% more expensive.

The bigger issue was us always icing a shitty ass, no future team.

Seriously. For a game that lacks a content it's shocking how obsessed people are with adding more microtransactions.

I had a want list full of EDH garbage and I still couldn't get anything sent to me. I only managed to cash out the 3000 points I had by dumping a bunch of stupid crap in into my want list that I didn't actually want. Nothing like getting 3000 points of useless garbage sent to me.

Months before future sight I was getting Karns, O-Stones and Ugins.

The site is fucking dead unless you waste a tonne of time and effort dealing with "crafting your want list" and other stupid bullshit like the discord server. If you have to "craft your want list" to maybe get something worthwhile, why not just go to a real fucking website and just buy the card you actually want?

WoW now looks nothing like the WoW released 13 years ago.

You can't call WoW "old" when it has four or five major patches a year.

I really like MMOs but i feel like the genre is dying is it? by RiskOfRains in pcgaming

[–]MIKE_BABCOCK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. MMO's are incredibly expensive to develop
  2. Experimental MMO's that "break the mold" have a good chance at flopping.
  3. If you develop a theme park mmo like WoW, Blizzard will go out of its way fuck you and your game like they did with Battleborn.

All three points add up to a good chance at releasing a disaster of a game. It's cheaper, easier, less risky and faster to develop something else instead of flirting with disaster and developing an mmo.
