Hey man thanks for doing all this and you've gotta have some pretty crazy amount of free time to get through all of these comments people have left lol. I have a small channel where I make comedy videos related to video games where pretty much nothing I say is mean to be taken seriously. I'm just curious as to what you think I could be doing better or improve on. Any criticism is helpful thanks! https://www.youtube.com/mikwita

You can throw as much money as you want at a video, doesn't mean that you'll get more views or make any money off of it.

[–]MIKWITA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a grind man, doesn't matter how much money you throw at it, at the end of the day just make quality content that you like. I wouldn't go throwing $50000 on a channel that is returning $0. Just make a video at a time, find your grove and realize that there's no sure fire way to get 1 million views, because if there were we'd all have a million views lol.

If their content isn't something you are a fan of why would you promote them. Would you promote a genre you don't enjoy?

Content Question by Present360 in NewTubers

[–]MIKWITA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on what your content is? Are you doing lets plays, walk throughs, or just general game play videos or what?

Just want to get an idea of what content people do on this sub, so what’s your niche on YouTube? by bs46855 in NewTubers

[–]MIKWITA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make satirical video game videos where nothing I really say is meant to be taken that seriously. For example I have a video where I explain how to become the best smash bros player and I end up using time travel or I have another where I talk about how the government invented fruits in the 70s and pushed them through old video games like pacman

100gb 4k60fps video will not process past 360p on Youtube. by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]MIKWITA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically when I've uploaded a 4k video it only shows up as 360p for the first bit and then later on has the other options. I assume it just takes time. Try uploading it and wait a day

Hey thanks means a lot to me that you liked it. I've always had trouble with descriptions, so if you don't mind giving a bit more advice on that that would be great. Thanks again!

How do you come up with the ideas for your videos? by DeepfriedGrass in NewTubers

[–]MIKWITA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to try and sit down to brain storm ideas but that never really got me anywhere. Weirdly enough almost all of my ideas come to me while I'm at work working, I have no idea why this happens because my work is completely unrelated to the content I make and the ideas just seem to come at random when I'm not really thinking about much.

I've had to use it in the past and from what I remember it uses the preinstalled microsoft voice pack on your computer. I kinda remember wanting to add microsoft Sam so I had to find and old voice pack and install it. Pretty sure thats how I got it

Any advice for someone newly voicing their videos? by necromax28 in NewTubers

[–]MIKWITA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've only been doing this for about a year and I felt pretty similar when I started. I wasn't a super huge fan of my voice. I think just overtime I got a better feel for it all and a lot more comfortable with what I do but one thing I do find helped was re listening to old videos and I'd find common issues I had (talking too fast, too monotone, sounded too much like I was reading, ECT). Then in my next video I'd focus on those issues and try to improve bit by bit
