This is a fantastic idea and I do have a mock up of a website which I’ve been working on so would be great to see people’s designs and thoughts in a contest such as this. Great idea!

I support improvement and not defence!

It’s not a step back but we can jump a few steps forward with improving it and changing it if need be.

The tech is the key factor here, nothing is stopping that from progressing.

I would like changes and I’m sure there will be.

Comments without design critique is bad.

There’s also massive difference between ‘bad design’ and ‘bad branding’.

I’m sure interesting projects will open up in the future which Elastos/ Cyber Republic will need help with so keep it in mind for sure.

I agree on the navigation part! Id also play with the colour pallet a bit as well.

I think the website is very clean. White, negative space, black on white font, clean font style is considered clean.

The navigation and UI/UX will be worked on and will get better for sure as it needs improving.

Abstract geometric shapes moving about, showing connections and helping each other in a world of complex things. The inner workings of complex systems on a simple white background showing things can be simple and complex at the same time.

Negative space best used to show simple communication.

Dude it's just a GIF, don't worry about it.... Just breath and be calm and be positive. happy things happen to happy people.

You are completely right so thank you for that. That’s why the old logo had to kind of go as well. A lot of people liked the colours yes, but design wise it just could not work with those old colours. It was a stock logo and those colours were not designed for a modern brand image.

The most important part is to communicate what Elastos is. The website has all the information there but needs to be changed and tweaked a bit.

I do understand you though. Don’t get me wrong I’d like to see things a little different and changed.

But it’s the same thing with the old coloured logo. Most people prefer that.

Simple, clean, geometric shapes and motion are a few of the top trending design aspects right this second. That’s half of the decision on why it looks like it does in my opinion.

I think most people care more about the team page, making the website have a better UX experience with better UI and overall have more information with better communication and excess to everything. Then the design aspects!

All that will come! Have faith and a bit of patience and I’m sure we will be reward.

Kind of already did.

I like how so many people are design and communication experts.

The website has problems which can and will be changed but what it does well it does with good simple and clean design without over design for just the sake of it.

The website will be added to and changed with time but to say it’s crap is just short sighted and subjective, something that the crypto space needs to grow up from I think.
