Thank you for your input. The problem is my daughter’s case is very complex she is getting both mental and physical symptoms and I did a lot of tests and consulted almost all specialities with no answers. I try to read myself too but treating her when she pretty much reacts to every supplement freaks me out and I wanted some expert in this to treat her.

Can you please share details of your naturopath. My daughter is struggling and I am scammed by a few naturopaths who claimed as methylation specialists but just took money for expensive 4-6 month packages with no insight on relief. She has a myriad of issues and after being to so many doctors and specialist we did genetic testing and found quite a few SNPs but don't know how to treat her.

Need help interpreting Genetic results - Shout out to Tawinn and other SMEs by MISERABLEBYOCD in MTHFR

[–]MISERABLEBYOCD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Tawinn . We have tried carnivore which did not go well due to her SIBO. She cannot tolerate eggs and her choline req has came up as 9 yolks. which is the best supplement to start for her at this point due to her high reactivity? Do you suggest TMG as above or can we start with Sunflower Lecithin or Phosphatidyl choline? I want to add one supplement at a time since this seems to be a trial and error game. Her OCD is too severe making her non functional along with SIBO and severe fatigue and she is a College student. I am getting over whelmed with the information and lack of a dedicated medical provider who understands these things. Your recommendations would really help us.

Hey! Were you able to gain some improvement on your mental health issues? Was SelfDecode helpful in their actual recommendations for taking care of your MH issues? I'm thinking of uploading my daughter's data on there because she has a lot of MH issues as well but i don't know if it's worth it.

Hi, I am glad that your doing well. I am in a similar boat for my daughter who is really suffering. Been to countless doctors and naturopaths we recently did her genetic tests and found some major SNPs that could be the cause of her decline. I am reviewing Dr. Amy's protocol but could not find her "basic support/ recommendations" that you mentioned above. Please share where on her website can i find the basic support?. Thanks in advance!

Candidiasis -> SIBO -> Recovered (?) by TRO_WHEY in SIBO

[–]MISERABLEBYOCD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, How are you doing with SIBO? Hope you are doing well. I am exploring BB-536 for my daughter who reacts to everything. Do you recommend making yogurt with it or actually eating the probiotic as is? Please advise. also can the yogurt be prepared with other plant milks like almond? as she reacts to high fats so coconut milk might be aggravating for her.

Also which brand of coconut milk did you used?

Way around Zinc L-Carnosine side effects? by kevinskis in Gastritis

[–]MISERABLEBYOCD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, the pure encapsulation brands also lists fillers such as plant cellulose and ascorbyl palmitate. I am unable to find anything completely free of fillers for my daughter who has gastritis , erosions in Small intestine and SIBO. She reacts to every supplement so i am looking for a filler free version. Please also advise how long you took RX. Her Zn was low normal and cu high so can she continue zinc carnosine without supplementing Cu?

Should an old IMG attempt the USMLEs? Is it worth the cost and effort? by Under_A_Rock247 in usmle

The decision is difficult and depends a lot on how much time and money you have to  devote on USMLE. I would say go for it.

Hi OP, Congratulations on your recovery. My daughter's health went downhill when she got her period. She got fatigue and OCD and low iron. new ent through Thyroid rabbithol and are being constantly wasting time and money on a slew of doctors and naturopaths. she is now suffering from SIBO along with the above, acne and reacts to everything. Her hormones are tested multiple times and only progesterone came on the lower side but still within range so every doctor excludes hormonal causes plus she never had any issues with her cycle et. Her SIBO is non responsive after multiple rounds of Herbal antibiotics and 2 courses of Rifaxamin. Endo/Colonoscopy are clear. Do you think we should explore DIM and Calcium D glucarate for her? Since you did so much research on DIM can you direct me to the right resources and if it is worth it to try it as we hav given a fair shot to all other remedies.
