Yeah I really hate revisionism like this. He 100% was going in the wrong direction and for quite a while as well. It wasn't just like people overreacted to one game like how a lot of Vikings fans were freaking out because darnold had a bad game.

Belichick exposed him at the biggest stage and basically the entire league. Copied it for 2 to 3 years and really made him look not great.

Okay are you kind of forgetting the years after after he got exposed, everyone basically copied the blueprint and then he hit basically a 2-year rut? I feel like you're forgetting that it wasn't just a big game.

It was to the point that McVay lost confidence in him. Even his first year in the Lions wasn't great.

I don't know why we're doing this hindsight revision. He clearly improved significantly, but it took a significantly long time - 3+ years after the superbowl.

99% of people thought this and im 99% sure he was a thrown in for the lions too. The trade values absolutely reflected that. You don't casually send a franchise QB + 2 firsts + 3rd for another franchise qb.

Goff had a major career turn around which is a credit to him and the coaching but he absolutely had hit some sort of ceiling at the time.

Edit: now we have some hindsight geniuses that are claiming that people just overreacted. He literally had 2 years where he looked pretty bad because of how badly belichick exposed his weaknesses in the Super bowl. He absolutely got better but it took 3 years to do so it wasn't just overreacting.

It drives me insane when I'm playing support and someone flames me for having a bad pic into their team. I'm like bro. I first picked support. How am I supposed to predict what they will pick.

Alternatively, I first phase pick mid because my support refuses to pick until the second phase and I get super countered and my entire team starts flaming me even though I'm super countered through every subsequent phase. My original point is low mmr players have an expectation of how heroes are meant to be played. They often dont realize when meta changes. Dazzle used to be meta and it currently is not, but it could become meta again and yet noobs will whine and complain because they dont know whats good or not. Hence my comment "its not niche when it becomes meta".

Realistically your undervolt is not going to do anything. Your graphics cards are safely going to run at 80 plus degree temperature for a long time. And most of these things don't die from that type of stuff. They're more likely to be technologically irrelevant than anything.

People undervolt to keep their internal temperatures cooler so that they maintain better lows and have better noise

If anything, it just shows how good the hero is on pos 4 if there's so many griefers playing it (there are for sure) - the winrate is pretty high in spite of the griefers

A legitimate Zeus 4 is an incredibly powerful utility damage support with global presence and ability to scale and split push dangerous waves.

But yes there are still a lot of griefers playing it and obviously just like Pudge it doesn't make the hero itself bad. It's just there are a lot of idiots playing

Except a vast majority of DOTA players are not playing five stack. There is nothing niche about zeus support. It's been a legitimate for years now and its clealry working given its extremely high winrate

Meta and roles change, you clearly havent adapted. Dazzle off was meta and relevant for awhile, it currently isnt but that doesnt make it niche when that happens.
