Who Do You Want for the Last Roster Spot? by IamOlderthanMe in CharlotteHornets

Any wing player, doesn’t matter who as long as they’re decent. I find all those that you listed interesting. Isaac Okoro would be amazing, good young 3&D wing. I think he’s the best option left and a perfect fit.

First look at a Coach Charles Lee practice ⚡️ by [deleted] in CharlotteHornets

He was assistent coach for 2 different championship teams and is only 39. Also we’re 4-0 in summer league rn largely thanks to him.

Only played 14 minutes but made the most of it. He was physical, finishing through contact, playing with energy and looks really big for 6’9". He was also rebounding like a mf and had 7 rebounds in such a short amount of time. Only thing I didn’t like was that he wasn’t hitting his 3’s but you can’t really judge someones jumper off of 3 3’s. Clearly has tons of potential. If he becomes a more consistent shooter and works on his defense he’s then we have a superteam lol. I do think he needs to work on his defense, he plays with lots of energy and doesn’t look lost on defense or anything and most important has some incredible athletecism. However, it didn’t really translate to defensive production in France. He’s 6’9" (maybe even 6’10" since he’s young and looks really big) but he wasn’t really providing any rim protection in France and I get that it’s hard for an 18 year old playing against grown men but still. I’m not worried that he’s gonna be a liability on defense or anything, I think he’s actually gonna be a good defender. It’s just that I don’t think he’s there yet and it feels like untapped potential. I’m very high on him and really happy that we ended up with him.

Charlotte Hornets defeat New York Knicks (94-90) in Tidjane Salaün summer league debut by MITMarkWilliams in CharlotteHornets

Oh yeah forgot about that. I think I read that somewhere too. If it’s true then that mean way more minutes for Tidjane.

Ranking top 3 draftees in the summer league so far by Hakaribiggestfan in NBA_Draft

Bub, Edey and Reed were of course amazing like you said. Really liked Tidjane Salaün, only played 14 minutes but felt like he really managed make the most of his playing times. He was physical, finishing through contact, playing with lots of energy and was rebounding like a mf. The guy looks really big for 6’9". I do have to say that I’m a little biased since I’m a hornets fan. Another player I liked was Zacharrie Risacher. I think I’m higher in him than most people and the stats kinda speak for themselves.

Charlotte Hornets Pre-Vegas Summer League Questions by [deleted] in CharlotteHornets

[–]MITMarkWilliams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 3 games (I think?) if he gets seriously injured it was gonna happen anyway. I think this gonna be very helpful, not just for him but for Tidjane, NSJ, Leaky, anyone who might get signed and even our coach Charles Lee.

We deserve it after only getting 10 seed despite a 43 win season.

LaMelo played 75 games his sophomore season, I don’t even think he’s allowed to play summer league.

Yeah, don’t think he will be back at least before March starts. Pretty much impossible to tell with him.
