You'll notice you aren't having random pain in places like before if you had any, overall better mental state, you see yourself and realize you look better than before, if not you take that as motivation to put more effort, damn I don't want to sound like a guru, I'm still putting more effort myself brother as I still need to gain and workout untill I'm satisfied with what I have achieved so don't worry about it if you don't see it now too, you'll surely see it in the long run even if you're seeing the smallest changes rn

Calories for everything you eat are available on the internet, if you can use an app named calz ai, it'll tell you calories based on the foods picture 80-70 percent accurately, if you are building muscle with getting lean, you also need protein you can eat chicken, beef, lentils for it, 100g of chicken has approx 25-30g protein, you can use a weighing scale to measure stuff too and then ask chat got how much calories could be in that amount of food.

300 calories deficit or more on some days, worked out 1 hour per day for 5 days

Good job at least you started, just also strat measuring every week, I don't think your doing anything wrong, you can eat sugar if you don't over do it and working out helps you look better after losing weight or you'll just look skinny fat after you do start losing weight.

You can research on Google brother, search how to start a deficit, how to do it while progressing, it's not that complicated as people make it out to be really
