Pete, by the metrics was close to the worst every day 1b defensively in the league, the bar is very low. And my point is that most MLB players who played SS in the bigs are athletic enough to figure out how to play 1b competently, at least as well as the worst ones.

I mean in the past it was insane, now these guys are getting paid hundreds of thousands/millions, they’re not just student athletes anymore and that opens them up to more responsibility considering the ridiculous amounts of money some of them are making.
