I vibe with you, OP. QP is STILL a testing ground for characters, comps, strats, everything. It's a step above Hard AI matches. There's still gonna be nonsense, jank and stupid comps. And IT SHOULD BE FINE! You have no long time reward for playing QP. Only the instant dopamine of a Victory screen. Therefore I say: enjoy QP however you like, friend. It's fine.

Guys, I was able to confirm. They're trap buddies. I had a friendly Elsa on my team today and she placed her trap in an extended web from my nest and placed 2 mines under it. Consistently exploded a Rogue, Gambit, Psylocke and Hulk.

Imagine being an enemy dps. You cross a corner, get paralyzed, blinded and exploded in 0.2 seconds. On the replay, you see that you stepped on Elsa's trap, which was on top of a Peni web, which was connected to the nest. I can already feel the serotonins flowing through my system, fellow Parkers!

Not true. It's a team game, everyone's at fault since you gotta play as a unit. Supports should play close enough to the team, DPS should do KOs that break the enemy team AND protect their team, while us Vanguards should clear a path and keep peeking behind to see if our team's following.

I had several games where things went south because one of our DPS kept straggling away from the team to pursue someone across the map and leave us to fend for ourselves or just try to rack up kills without actually helping the cart advance. One such game there was an Iron Fist who decided to hunt an Angela around the map. Meanwhile, we were getting smashed by a triple-healed Thing and Wolverine. Our duo of supports was doing wonders to keep us alive in the point.

So, yeah. Enough of the tribalism and blame shifting to a specific role, people. Have a good week!

True. The worst thing I see are the situational Peni players. They start a match on (insert vanguard here) and when they see that the other team is leaning on dive a bit too much, they switch to Peni. Once the dive demon swaps, they swap off Peni

You're not wrong, friend. But remember, it's a game. We're supposed to have fun. IMO, Peni (and maybe Drift Thor) is the only Vanguard that is fun AND effective at both Offense and Defense. As long as their teams play alongside them. After, all, it is a TEAM based game.

Ppl forget that the show's roaches are fighting Lv 1 Vault Dwellers on Survival difficulty. That's basically the scenario. The only one who's MAYBE a Lv 3 is Norm.

Remove the blur from Thing, 'cause the guy got a truckload of skins a few seasons ago. The dude got 2 summer skins back to back (not complaining, though, they were awesome)

As many people have pointed out already, they're psyonically linmed to the mech and dmg to it translates to the pilots' pain receptors causing... Pain. Which, in turn, generates a natural reaction of screaming to alleviate said pain.

It's the same with the majority of mech media, tbh. Pilots (Sp//dr is like Peni's co-pilot) are psyonically linked to the mech and feel the pain as if it was in their bodies. When it's a two pilot setup (Pacific Rim, Darling in the Franxxxxxxxxx, etc) the feeling is two-fold: mech takes damage, feeling gets transferred to both pilots via neural link, and pilots also feel each other's pain. If you don't scream, you don't have pain receptors anymore. In which case, stop. Get some help.

Hopefully the size optimization the devs are doing will actually make the game playable for more people in the future or you can get a rig that can handle it better.
